Video of Danny Thurman's IPF Masters BP Worlds

Below is video of gold medalist and overall runner-up Danny Thurman (181) at the IPF Masters Bench Press World Championships which took place March 31-April 3 in Orlando, Florida.
Thurman hit lifts of 529 and 551 pounds. He used his final press to attempt an open USAPL American Record of 600 pounds.

Japanese Lose M2 & M3 Titles on Technicality

Andy Bolton to Compete Next Month

The man with the biggest deadlift in powerlifting history (1,008 pounds), the second biggest total of all-time and the fourth biggest squat of all-time, Andy Bolton, will take to the platform next month for the BPC British Bench Press and Deadlift Championships.

Ivailo Hristov Captures Bulgarian Nationals

Former IPF Worlds gold medalist Ivailo Hristov captured the best lifter title at the Bulgarian National Championships which took place on March 27-28 in Gorna Oryahovitsa, Bulgaria. Hristov is the only Bulgarian man in history to ever capture an IPF open class title.

Stan Barmore (242) bench pressed 572 pounds raw on Saturday at the unsanctioned St. Jude's Fundraiser Bench Press in Spartanburg, South Carolina.
Barmore holds the top ranked press on the Powerlifting Watch Lifter Rankings (551 pounds) and is ranked 26th in the world on the Power Rankings.

Efferding & Lilliebridge to go at UPA Nationals

The number one and five ranked raw powerlifters in America according to the Power Rankings, Stan Efferding and Eric Lilliebridge, will share the same platform for the UPA National Championships in Dubuque, Iowa in July.
