NAPF North American Regional BP Roster

The 4th IPF/NAPF North American Regional Bench Press Championships will take place on October 9 & 10, 2009 at the Copa Cabana Hotel and Resort in Acapulco, Mexico.
Forty lifters from four countries will take part in the competition – The British Virgin Islands, Denmark, Mexico, and the United States of America.
The USA Team consists of IPF world champions and world record holders – Danny Thurman (181), Dennis Cieri (198), Tim Anderson (220) and NAPF gold medalists Clint Poore (242) and Dr. Chris Calvano (275).

Below is video of Nick Zhukov (198) totaling 1,598 pounds (725kg) at last week's AWPC Raw Powerlifting World Championships in Rostov on Don, Russia. Zhukov won the 198 class and finished second overall. The total gave Zhukov the 46th spot in the world on the Powerlifting Watch Power Rankings.
Video of Andrey Kisel's WPC Raw Worlds

Nick Zhukov has uploaded video of Ukrainian Andrey Kisel (220) competing on Saturday at the inaugural WPC Raw Powerlifting World Championships in Rostov on Don, Russia. Kisel posted a 1,906 pound (865kg) total to place second at 220 to overall winner Andrey Belyeav. Kisel finished fourth overall.
The total also earned him the fourteenth ranking in the world on the Powerlifting Watch Power Rankings.
Kisel was actually ahead of Belyaev by 33 pounds (15kg) at the subtotal, due to a 727 pound (330kg) squat and 518 pound (235kg) bench press.
Juha Someroja Grabs 6th Highest Total of All-Time

Finland's Juha Someroja (242) registered a 2,496 pound (1,132.5kg) total on Saturday at the FPO BullFarm Powerlifting Championships at the Fitness EXPO in Lahti, Finland. The total is the sixth highest of all-time. Someroja's total included a 970 pound (440kg) squat, 727 pound (330kg) bench press, and 799 pound (362.5kg) deadlift. He missed two attempts at a 777 pound (352.5kg) bench press and an 837 pound (380kg) deadlift. If successful, Someroja would have moved up the second highest total of all-time.
Someroja finished second to Jonas Rantanen (308), who posted a new all-time record total.

Video of Kirill Sarychev's 20th Ranked BP

Nick Zhukov has posted video of Russian Kirill Sarychev (shw) from Saturday at the WPC Raw Powerlifting World Championships in Rostov on Don, Russia. The 21-year-old pressed the twentieth ranked raw bench press of all-time, 628 pounds (285kg). In the process, Sarychev became the youngest presser in history to hit the 600 pound mark.
Robyn Blankenship Climbs to 3rd in the World

Robyn Blankenship (165) totaled 1,200 pounds raw on Saturday at the SPF World Championships in Nashville, Tennessee to climb to the third spot in the world on the Powerlifting Watch Power Rankings. Blankenship's total also ranks her first on the Lifter Rankings, almost 200 pounds ahead of the second ranked total.

Nick Zhukov has uploaded video of Russian Andrey Belyaev (220) competing on Saturday at the inaugural WPC Raw Powerlifting World Championships in Rostov on Don, Russia. The 26-year-old Belyaev posted a 2,028 pound (920kg) total that ranks him seventh in the world on the Powerlifting Watch Power Rankings.
Jamie McDougal Totals Big at SPF Worlds

Jamie McDougal (181) posted a 1,645 pound raw total at last weekend's SPF World Championships in Nashville, Tennessee. The total is the number one ranked effort on the Powerlifting Watch Lifter Rankings, almost 100 pounds better than the second highest total. It is also the 37th best in the world on the Power Rankings.

Nick Zhukov has uploaded video of Konstantin Konstantinovs' (308) lifts from Saturday at the WPC Raw Powerlifting World Championships in Rostov on Don, Russia. Konstantinovs' day included a 903 pound deadlift. He added a token squat of 440 pounds (200kg) and a 507 pound (230kg) bench press to total 1,851 pounds (840kg).
