Massive squatter Mohammad Raeisi just went for a phenomenal 814 single (about 4.46x his body weight)! Yes, you read that correctly, and if he replicates this in a competition it will be a new world record!
Ridiculously strong 83 kg Angelo Fortino just pulled 751 lb x 1 followed by 667 x 4 ahead of the US Raw Nationals! His most recent PR is 760 (March 2021), and it looks like he's got a lot more than that in him!
USAPL lifter Meg Scanlon just went for a very impressive 391 lb x 2 on the squat and 237 lb x 2 on the bench, and those bench reps especially moved fast and easy! Can't wait to see her wreck her PRs of 413.3 on the squat and 264.5 on the bench at the US Raw Nationals!
Britain's Strongest Man, Adam Bishop, went for 7 reps on the deadlift with 836 lb. Yes, you read that correctly! The first 6 reps are really fast and easy too, so I'll say Adam had a pretty good day at the gym!
Canadian Powerlifting Union (CPU) champ Danielle Philibert had a BIG day at the Port City Showdown, with a 463 lb squat, 260 lb bench, and 474 lb deadlift to total 1197! Can't wait to see what crazy numbers she'll be hitting in her 2022 CPU Nationals performance!
USAPL champ Angelo Fortino squatted 633 lb (his latest PR) in training for what he called a "sticky" rep followed by 500 x 6. Honestly though, none of it looked sticky to me! Can't wait to see him PR in his next meet!
USAPL champ Ashton Rouska had a big day at the gym, squatting 793, benching 452, and deadlifting 815! Crazy impressive as they are, hopefully we get to see him top those numbers in a meet someday soon!
