powerlifting dangreenpowerlifter 650 x 5 Deads on the Elieko Finally back in the gym after taking a lot of down time. Pretty out of shape but worked up to this set on deads...but they felt surprisingly easy
powerlifting jnorcottsc The best meet of my life numbers wise! Went 9/9 on attempts, 27/27 white lights, 4 new PR’s, first place, and best lifter! YEEEEEEEEET!
Here are my squat attempts...606 / 639 / 672 That’s a 22lb PR on squats for the day. Video #2 This was without a shadow of a doubt the highlight of the meet.
powerlifting Ed Kutin 2018 100% Raw Worlds VA Beach 56 years old. 242 lb class. Not my best day, but, for once, it was the squats that were my high point. 3 for 3 (first not shown) with no red lights! Now when was the last time that happened? I think not in modern times.
powerlifting sarahskwaats I went 8/9 with PRs in all 3 lifts, ending with this AMERICAN RECORD and unofficial IPF world record deadlift of 250.5kg/552lbs with some left in the tank. Video #2 I went 2/3 on squats, missing my second on depth (my first missed lift due to depth...ever. I was RILED). Thankfully I was able to get a little deeper and get my third attempt of 237.5kg/523lbs for a PR. I went 3/3 on bench, ending with a PR of 105kg/231lbs. My bench hadn’t progressed from October 2016-March 2018 so I am so happy that it’s feeling good and moving.
powerlifting eliburks3 I won the 105kg nationals last night with this 804 lb deadlift. This was probably the least stress I’ve had in a meet ever and I attribute that to @thestrengthguys with my coaches @benesgro and @jasontsg. I have complete trust in Ben’s attempt selections and that trust has built up over years of success. There was still some strength left on the squat, bench and deadlift but everything worked out so the last pull came to 804. I really appreciate Amber going and her support and I’m glad she got to see her first powerlifting meet.
powerlifting thehulksmash75 Here it is too 3 lifts from #rawnationals2018 843/353/810 for a 2k+ total. My 3rd squat was red lighted but overturned by the jury shorty after. I’m only 8 pounds from the American and World open #squat which I could of easily gotten IMO same goes for the deadlift. I left a lot of weight on the platform. #deadlifts felt great as well #crushing 810lbs. #ipfworlds here I come! Shoutout to those #sponsors who have supported me!
powerlifting kriis_d 3rd attempt deadlift to lock in the gold for the 72kg class with this 210kg (463lbs) meet PR weighing in at 69.7. Came into this meet not super confident since I’m actually recovering from a glute injury. I haven’t been able to squat without pain literally until last night so wasn’t really sure what to expect. The goal was to stay conservative in squats and go for a heavier pull if needed. I’ve hit this in training and since I’m usually good for about 10kg gym vs meet PR I knew I had this in the bag, just needed to execute. Holy feels right now!
powerlifting miss_amanda_ann WOW, where do I even begin? What a fun weekend! I ended taking silver in the -84kg Junior and Open. I went 7/9, weighing in at 83.2kg.
SQUAT: 238.5kg/526lbs AR/unofficial WR on my second attempt. Missed my third.
DEADLIFT: 245kg/540lbs AR/unofficial WR on my third attempt.
BENCH: 107.5kg/237lbs on my second attempt. Missed my third.
TOTAL: 591kg/1303lbs HUGE PR
The Arnold will be my next meet, which I am so so so excited for. I’m ready to keep pushing myself to new levels. I have yet to put out a perfect meet, so it’s time to get back to work!
powerlifting ptcheadquarters When l say we try and have the best of everything at Big Dogs, l genuinely mean it. Check out this missed 425kg squat from Petr Petras. He didnt dump it, it rolled off his back and he cleared off, so Spiros caught it in the crook of his elbows, and the rest of the boys calmly put it back. Check how chilled they are afterwards. Not all heroes wear capes.
