A lot has changed in the past 2 years since I last competed. After taking an extended time off, in July I returned to the gym having lost a lot of strength and questioning if I could get back to where I was. With training sessions and encouragement from @dangreenpowerlifter, and support from everyone at @bossbarbellclub, I've made great progress. Thanks to the encouragement of @kenny.lima.73 I competed to see where I am now. I surprised myself. I went 8/9 (with a bonus 4th squat) and all white lights except for a missed bench press. Top lifts were 133kg (293#) squat, 75kg (165#) bench press, and 160kg (352#) deadlift. I totalled just over 800# winning my weight class in the open division, as well as winning the best lifter award for Masters women (among the 11 who competed). Since I haven't gotten hold of the photo with my best lifters sword at the awards ceremony, I'll instead share a photo with my grandson admiring my prize. Thanks to @capture_moments_that_matter for the rest of the photos included here. @uspc.pl @uspc.norcal #BossLadysofBBBC
