APF Nightmare on 49th Street recap. Squats went exactly how I wanted them to go and finished with 1025 and a PR. Things went down hill after that though. I got my opening bench of 606, but then missed 666 twice at lockout. Deadlifts went as expected too, unfortunately. I ended with 545 and a narrow miss at 575 due to a balance issue at the top. I was also able to pull out a best lifter win since they factor in age. a special thanks to @nnorwood5 and @daughtersandeadlifts for handling me at the meet. Couldn’t have done it without y’all. I’d also like to mention @seth.albersworth from @activated.performance and @thedanieltinajero for their guidance through training for this and allowing me to lean on them to get better. If you’re looking for a coach you can’t go wrong with these two. Thank you to @tommye_teamstorm and my @perfectstormhardcoregym and @ctxbarbellorlando families for the support and push. I love you all. Last, but not least, @_kenzie_rose for putting on an amazing meet and taking care of all the lifters with great spotters/loaders. #builtwithbrokenpieces #persist #dontlettheoldmanin #perfectstormhardcoretraininggym #ctxforever #elitefts #teamelitefts #skullsmashammonia #teamskullsmashammonia #powerheartguts #beard
