As the THSPA/THSWPA Powerlifting season begins, the first meet was held at Tarkington Middle School. The Tarkington Longhorn Girls Classic Directed by Ron Arnesen had 92 lifters and some very close battles! Mariah Sigler took top honors at 132 fighting off a credible lifter in Paris Williams! It was 635 to 620 with Paris having the class high deadlift at 300lbs in a field of 7. Kailyn Fisher had the highest total of the meet squatting 415, benching 255 and pulling 385 for 1,055 total in the 259+ class. Many more meets are coming!
