Blanca Villoch pulling 496lbs. at 145lbs

powerlifting blanca_villoch Third Attempt deadlift, 496lbs. at 145lbs. bodyweight (28lbs. PR) . . . I needed this pull to lock in my 1200 total, PR my deadlift and PR my total. A lot was riding on it, so as much as i wanted to load 501, i took what i needed and minimized risk. I was surprised how quick i locked it out! . . This was the first time being able to load the deadlift bar with whatever i needed to lock in a total. Last year at this same meet, i pulled a grindy 425. So grateful to have found the expertise of my coach, Andrew, who analyzed my energy leaks and helped me improve my technique. That, along with additional bodyweight, contributed to this 71lb. increase in one year’s time. Looking forward to 500+ in Feb! . Video #2 Second Attempt Bench Press, 237lbs. at 145lbs. bodyweight.
