Coy Jorden meet recap

powerlifting coyjorden83kg Well, my first junior world championships is officially in the books and it was an honor to compete on the international stage with the best equipped 83kg lifters in the world. I placed 3rd behind two of the strongest guys I’ve ever seen. @konstantin_musienko (1st) with a disgusting 644lb bench press and @shaibekov_vlad (2nd). This was without a doubt my best meet prep to date thanks to @kissmyarch and although the results don’t show it we came in strong AF. There were many things that were out of my control that effected my meet performance, but at the end of the day all I can do is learn from it and move on. Squat: 320kg (miss), 320kg (miss), 320kg (good) Bench press: 235kg (good), 245kg (good), 250 (miss) Deadlift: 275kg (good), 290 (miss), 295 (miss) Total: 840kg Disappointing 4/9 day, but with only one more year of junior eligibility I have zero time to dwell on it. I’m going to put my heart and soul into this next year of training. 2019 junior worlds will be different.
