Dr. Stefanie Cohen, DPT- 215kg/475lbs x 4 “Better to run hot and overheat than too cautious and undertrained. Ideally we would like to progress from week to week but it gets to a point where that is almost impossible. Training is both practice of skill and building of work load, but the expression of strength is based on readiness, which is not critical in training, only important during competition.” Is something l learned from one of my mentors @dangreenpowerlifter. Being a powerlifter becomes as much of a mental task as it is physical so having people to lean on that have years of training experience under their belt when training gets rough has been key.
