RPS Bristol's Big Bench Competition

Powerlifting Syndicate returned to sanction Bristol's Big Bench Competition for the 9th Annual event that was held on Saturday March 10th. Some records were broken at the bench only meet held at Nirvana Family Fitness in Bristol, Pennsylvania. Nicole Bangert, competing in the Women's 165lb. AM Junior 20-23 Raw Classic, broke the RPS world record with 187.5lb bench and then broke her own record with a 4th attempt by pressing an impressive 190lbs. Bangert also finished with the Women's Best Lifter award. Another big lift was performed by Steve Pollock, lifting 525lbs in the Men's 242lb Master 45-49 Single-Ply. Drew Willis of Garden State Barbell came out to represent by competing in the Mens 275lb Pro Open Raw Classic with a bench of 450lbs.
