jrotsinger- Hopefully this will help those who struggle with the sumo deadlift. Often I see athletes who are trying to squat the weight up. You want to use your hips as a wedge and drive them between the bar and the ground. Open up your hips, tighten your lats and upper back, then push your feet through the floor. . And yes, I don't have AC in Florida
