Conyers has been my favorite lifter since I first started in 1996 and he is still getting better. This guy is from another planet. Amazing.

I recall seeing my first live PLing meet in the early to mid 80's near Tampa and being amazed at this skinny little guy who was making big wts look easy. Guy's name - Tony Conyers. I've seen him make huge lifts many times since. Congrats TC.

Tony totaled 10.6 times his body weight at 57 years of age - truly incredible! His ability to amaze us decade after decade further strengthens Jack's contention that Tony is the greatest powerlifter of all time! God Bless you, brother!

Perhaps give us some insight into how he trains or how he has been training and what changes he has made over the past 2 years that took him from the 1500's to the 1600's at 57 years old.

Tony benched 400 raw in the mid 80's in the 148 pound class. If we were lifting raw in 90's and early 2000's 1700 plus for sure at 148 or 165. Tony and I started lifting raw in 2005 and I was 40 and was 47. This guy is just amazing.
