Ernie Lillibridge Jr should be there. I voted for Matt Minuth as he is the best lifter there IMO. Then Carl second and Jesse third, Malanichev 4th. Brandon Lilly is a great guy, but should not be there. Matt only has 2% of the votes? Competitions like this will always be largely a popularity contest.

He could have easily made the cut and done this at 198 as well. 2600+ will likely fall very soon! Matt is also brutally strong RAW (sqt 800+, bnch 550+, DL 750+), and could very easily become a top ranked RAW lifter! Dude is a literal "FREAK"!

Ernie J should definitely be in there! I voted for Dan Green. The man wins meets and sets records every time he competes! A bit unreal....

RAW POWERLIFTERS PUT IT DEEPER IN THE HOLE! THE IRON NEVER LIES!

Everyone looks like they're riding Malanichev. Yeah, New raw WR total is cool and all, but I honestly think CYC is probably the strongest lifter walking the planet under strict conditions. I don't lift in gear, but he absolutely amazes me.

If you want a direct comparison, Malan did a single ply meet last year and totalled 60kgs less than CYC did, despite Malan not being tested.

Want to measure pure power? How about strongman, or highland games?? Or even mma; Jon John will show you true power pretty quick and I bet his deadlift is crap! Powerlifting is a joke of a measure of "pure strength". A single parent with 3 kids is stronger, guys working 2 or 3 jobs, the hard laborers paid next to nothing; all stronger than some guy laying on a bench. Get your head on straight and stfu. You haven't got a clue what strong is. We're playing a game, who cares if someone else is playing with different rules. Just stupid.

because raw and single ply aren't the same thing. Maybe Malani isn't that used to gear and isn't getting the same benefits as someone who trains in it all the time. ... all things are possible to him that believeth.

Malan has been competing in gear at the international level for at least 15 years...I'd say he's pretty used to it.
