Jesse Norris Breaks ALL TIME 198 Raw Record!!!

Create: 01/11/2013 - 22:31
"At only 19 years old, Jesse Norris totals an unbelievable 1850@ 198 lbs (839@90 kgs) raw, no knee wraps in the USAPL. This surpasses Ryan Celli's all-time raw total WR of 1840@198, as well as Jesse Kellum's all-time raw WR squat of 690@198, and the drug tested all-time records as well!. Because this was not a high level meet, it will not count as an IPF raw WR, however. Norris squatted 700, benched 400, and deadlift 750 for a total of 1850!!!

Pending drug test results, this is INCREDIBLE. If this kid is clean, he can win IPF world championships for many years to come.

You might want to keep a civil tone, lest someone rip out your fucking tongue and show it to you as you bleed to death. Perhaps you should just refrain from making comments about your betters altogether.

What the hell are you gonna do if someone makes another veiled negative comment...cry ? Get over it ! Perhaps you should just refrain from the caffiene. His comment was civil. You acted as if someone pimp slapped your "life partner". In a forum, there are gonna be both negative and positive comments. If you can't take the negative, maybe, juuuuuust maybe, you're more "sensative" than you're letting on.

Makes great sense. I have to agree with him. I don't care if this kid is gassed to the gills that's impressive. That and the statement acts like an IPF world championship is more prestigious than an ALL TIME WORLD RECORD...hmmmm.

Congratulations. My point is proved again. If you idiots spent less time talking shit and more time lifting, your name might be one the list of world record holders.

Fantastic lifting. Yeah, because lifting in a high level meet means he didn't lift it? Man I hate stupid rules. As long as you follow the rules and have qualified judging it doesn't matter where or who shows up it should still be the record. It would make no difference to me if I was going against all the greatest lifters of all time, I can only lift what I can lift. J Hack. ... all things are possible to him that believeth.

So how was this a USAPL meet using pound plates and not kilos? Just curious. Not taking ANYTHING away from the lifter that is amazing to say the least. And I agree it's dumb that its an all time record but not an IPF record, but oh well he should smoke that total next time for sure!!

Outstanding performance. For the purposes of clarification, in order for him to set any IPF Raw World Records, he would have to make those lifts at an international (IPF or NAPF) meet with international referees. In order to be invited to those meets, he first has to qualify to lift in them via USAPL Raw Nationals. Raw Nationals currently serves as the only qualifier for the Arnold Raw Challenge and the IPF Raw Classics Powerlifting World Championships. The current IPF Raw WR standards have not yet been met in the squat (295kg) or total (810kg). Naturally, his squat would eclipse the current standard as would his DL, and total. USA's own Dennis Cieri currently holds the BP record at 232.5kg and the DL is held by Poland's Krzysztof Wierzbicki at 330kg. As he did not lift at the 2012 USAPL Raw Nationals, he is ineligible for the 2013 IPF Raw Classics World Championships to be held in Suzdal, Russia from June 11 - 16. Naturally, he is eligible to compete in the 2013 USAPL Raw Nationals in Orlando, FL this July. If he has any inclination of attempting to officially break the IPF Raw World Records, he is encouraged and invited to compete in Orlando.
