I would like to see you keep the haters off here and be fair and even to all the federations.

I would definitely like to see any training tips, advice, or actual training logs, with regards to what worked or didn’t work for them. If any of these tips could help others with their training then this could create a higher level of competition thus further advance the sport of powerlifting. In addition the continuation of posting videos of lifts from top level performers is also important since these can both inspire and motivate any and all powerlifters thus once again advancing the sport of powerlifting.

And their philosophy as to why they do what they do. Why they do a particular routine, or why they think a particular tip would work.
The odd interview would be cool. I like hearing how everyone trains.
Yeah I would like more interviews that detail how lifters actually train, peak etc.

I would like to see some training articles...mainly on some of the differences between gear training and raw training

Articles on PL gear as far as breaking it in, dos and dont's, etc.....something we used to have on one of the the California websites. That's where I learned how to inflate a ball inside a sleeve or pant leg to stretch it out a bit before use. That kind of stuff is gold, especially for those of us who are out in the sticks.

I would like to see all of the above selections weekly or twice a month.

what makes me a reader of this site is the timely PL news - cross fed - and the meet listings - not other nonsense. i don't care about the latest wonder program - maybe put up a page linking to that stuff for those who care. same with the "nutrition" tips and supp sellers. i'm here for the good rankings too, if PLUSA did the meet coverage and rankings better, I'd buy them. I used to. reinventing the wheel doesn't make it better...please do what this site did well with Jon. thanks.

I like to see old vintage section of powerlifter videos, like Rich Weil, Ed Coan, Kaz, Inzer, Furnas, Gene Bell, Ted Arcidi, Dan Austin,Ricky Crain, Mike Bridges, lifters that lifted weights in the 80's and early 90's.

Not a bad idea to include any of those features on a powerlifting website. I mostly like this site for seeing the upcoming meets and meet results, the world records, who the top lifters are right now, and what competition I may have at a meet. Good luck with the website Eric.

I'm completely raw so anything to help me get my squat up to 200 pounds would be great. Raw Forever! Also get my bench above 90 lbs.

What about gear or supplements new on the market or anything used in training.

brother eric, i would like to see a mix of all of that! why just specify when you can have variety. all of these topics would add to the hits. i especially like the lifter of the week! priority should be comps and lifters with follow up being training and nutrition.

Submitted by Al Suarez (not verified) on
I agree with the mix of all the topics, just try to keep the haters off, our sport is too small and specialized for us to be bickering about this or that remember, for all of us this sport is in our blood I for one live to train and compete; So naturally I check in with powerlifting watch 2 or 3 times a day!, please keep up the good work.

I think they're all great ideas, but if you have to go with just one, I hope we go with training articles.

Report the PL news, changes in rankings, top lifters, future meets, and top lifters competing in the up coming meets.

60's PL trivia helps me to get jacked and grow, thereby handling freakish weights. More trivia please.

I think all of these topics should be covered. I voted for training but how many weekly training articles can you do before you start repeating yourself? With more topics plwatch can become more diversified and serve a greater purpose. Jeff Hackett. ULTIMATE SIZE, STRENGTH, AND STAMINA www.fitstep.com www.extremeselfprotection.com

More IPF coverage please. I appreciate the lifts done in all federations, but I compete in IPF.
