...Kenneth who??? Bencher of the Decade should have gone to Kennelly!?!?
Who has the most world titles? Who has the most big titles? International championships? Sandvik actually does. Very strange you haven't heard about him. He lifts in the IPF.

International championships? Sandvik actually does. Very strange you haven't heard about him. He lifts in the IPF.
That's impressive in a category of it's own, but I can win 100 World championships and the best lifter award dozens of times but who has the biggest bench EVER on the planet? Kennelly does, 1074 and 1075 all time records. The numbers are what stand out most to me and many others. But it's just my opinion. Sandvic must be great to have won this award, but he doesn't have the all time biggest bench ever so this award should have, no question, gone to Ryan for the decade. The majority of people who see a big guy ask,"How much do you bench?" Imagine being able to respond,"I bench more than any other human on the planet ever has..." That is the bencher of the decade. But to be fair, it should have been a tie between Kennelly and Mendelson - biggest shirted and raw bench.

who cars if he lifts in the ipf. it is just one federation. it doesnt mean that if you are the best in the ipf you are the best in world, at least not anymore.outside of the ipf, who has heard of the guy? yes impressive numbers, but there has been better in single ply

Not trying to start afight, just curious.

Another interesting fact about Sandvik is that he doesn't ever take a liftoff. Incredible...

Your career, accomplishments and longevity are incredible and as you know, you're an inspiration to lifters all over the world. I don't care about lifters competing in federations that doesn't drug test. My opinion is that Sandvik is the best lifter.

How does Becca Swanson get left off? Unreal numbers and what she accomplished the last 10yrs. Priscilla and Kara are awesome lifters though.
How does Becca Swanson get left off? Unreal numbers and what she accomplished the last 10yrs. Another thing I always though was amazing about Becca was her ability to continuously go 8 or 9 for 9 grinding out sick PRs with a smile on her face. People loved to watch her lift. There will never be another Becca! And congratulations of course to Priscilla. If I was to list all the reasons she is deserving, this would become a very long post :) All the girls nominated have fantastic accomplishments. Priscilla and Becca were on different competition paths yet they both set the world on fire over the last decade and made a huge impact on womens lifting...not just powerlifting, but women lifting weights in general. I wish they could have tied because they're both the best of the decade and have changed the history of the sport.

Sandvick did 750, single-ply and drug free Mike Womack did 900 single-ply and drug free Womack = bencher of the decade!
