Well, you know I have to nominate Hercules Gym! We have 12 ranked powerlifters off the top of my head in both raw and equipped and 4 on all time historical lists with one of them being #1 in a couple of weight classes! Of course, I am also impressed by Gaglione Strength for their pursuit of bringing people in to the sport and supporting those already in. And Westside Barbell who is full of nothing but world ranked lifters! Also Sweatt Shop who seems to have quite the force of world ranked women!

My nomination for 2016 "goy" goes to Hercules Gym in Syracuse, NY. I am not a member there, however my wife is and I have many friends who train there. This gym epitomizes teamwork, comradery and love of sport, whether you have 500lbs or 135lbs on the bar, everyone is a component toward attaining their goals. What is especially important is their philosophy toward lifters and assuring their safety, and providing them firstly with the keys to proper form, technique, approach and mental outlook. They truely care for their clients.

Id haveto say Woodlands Strength and Conditioning in the Woodlands, TX.... not only are we going to have over 20 people qualify for uspa nationals this year, they do so much for the veterans of camp hope, who suffer from PTSD. People who come to this gym have the biggest hearts and the best work ethic. The programing is top notch and the owners, Jessica Belt and Tommy Hastings are amazing people! Everything you could ever want or need under one roof! When the success of your teammates means just as much as your own, that's the kind of gym you should be at. There are no egos here, only hard workers, and it shows! Jeff younker
