RUM VII Reminder: Juggernaut Training Systems

Create: 11/13/2013 - 19:39
The Raw Unity Powerlifting Championships is proud to announce its latest and largest sponsor to date. Juggernaut Training Systems http://www.jtsstrength.com/ has joined forces with Raw Unity and has pledged $5000 for prize money in order to draw the top raw powerlifters in North America and perhaps the world to RUM 7. Since the announcement of adding knee wraps and a monolift to day 2 of next year’s Raw Unity Powerlifting Championships the interest among top raw lifters has been unprecedented. The preliminary commitment of lifters that have pledged to come to RUM 7 reads like a “Who’s Who” of raw powerlifting. Juggernaut will also be bringing RUM 7 to the entire world by not only live streaming the event but providing pre-meet interviews, a look at behind the scenes at RUM 7, footage of the press conferences, etc. It will be unprecedented access like you have never seen before at a top powerlifting event. Furthermore, Juggernaut will be using RUM 7 to help support one of their favorite causes, The Wounded Warrior Project. WWP is a great organization and Team Juggernaut athletes will be collecting pledges to support wounded veterans as they return from defending our freedoms abroad all across the world in harm’s way. Says Raw Unity’s co-founder Talmant, “I am honored to say that I served my country with pride and being a disabled veteran myself it makes me feel damn proud to know that organizations like Juggernaut are supporting my brothers and sisters that are in harm’s way defending our freedoms here back home”. Juggernaut’s Chad Wesley Smith adds, “Juggernaut is excited to help bring together the strongest lifters in the world under one banner and support such a well run and prestigious event as RUM 7—while also supporting such a great cause as WWP.” Juggernaut Training Systems, based in Irvine, CA, strives to bring athletes, coaches and trainers across the World, the highest quality information for all things strength and training. Home to champion athletes from powerlifting, strongman, weightlifting, Crossfit and more, Team Juggernaut is truly The Strongest Team in the World. JTSstrength.com offers seminars, articles, videos and training logs and more to help athletes of all levels improve and reach their goals.

Good for Juggernaut training systems to be so generous. What a welcome sight to see companies sponsoring events like this to bring in big names to compete and donate to such a worthwhile charity. On another note, I don't consider myself a the kind of guy who gets into debates over what is raw and what is not, but I have to say that the use of knee wraps and a monolift really defeats the purpose of raw lifting in my opinion. -Steve Buccilli

Is there going to be a bench only division this year or only full meet? If so did any numbers change? Thanks in advance. John Gaglione www.gaglionestrength.com Long Island Powerlifting & Sports Performance Educate Motivate Dominate

Good job Eric
I am the least one to be thanking here. Thanks goes to Chad and the Juggernaut Team and Brandon Lilly for doing the leg work. I am just elated to have these guys on board for RUM.
