Fought's pull was in a geared division so is considered a geared pull. Otherwise it would have been included.

Gear or no gear, he needed that huge pull to take the All-time 308 WR by 5 lbs, and smoked it. That kind of head-to-head in-meet drama is what this sport needs.

... And to win the meet. You're right that it should be included for those reasons. I've added it.

Thank you.

What about Jeremy Hartman's pull of 782@218lbs. at the IPF World's??????

That's a tough race right there... justso many great achievements to choose from.

Personally I voted for Robert Herring's 751 raw @ 198. Good Golly Molly!!!!!!!! That is just sick!

Putt Houston.... now with more Bom Chicka Wahwahhhhhh

Hartman's pull was under consideration. However, the two pulls that were only 10 pounds less and done in a lighter weight class ultimately left him out.

I did 181 at 710, but the list has much better achievements. I'm trying to find somebody who has it on video from the worlds:) Better luck next year, there are so many good 198's around shame we can all lift in the same show. I think it would bring out the best in all of the pullers.

Gillingham 871-IPF Masters World Record

826@198 in a full meet with a 2200# total and missed his 3rd attempt on the DL. is it even close who to vote for?

+1 on Gillingham's 871! That was just sick!

how about mike schwanke pulling over 800 twice in the 220s this year and after squatting a grand and benching 7? that is my vote.

Another great candidate. However, Belyaev's bigger pull at a lower bodyweight was the reason Schwanke wasn't included.

that is true, but schwanke had a much heavier squat and bench press preceeding the two 800+ pulls.

Man, if you need advice on who to vote for, just watch the video of the 826 at 198....freaky fast.

I voted for the 683 @ 148. He can hang with most SHWs in the DL, at less than half the bodyweight.

what about delroy mcqueen? 382.5kg @ 106kg

Mcqueen's lift was overlooked. Although late, it's only fair to add it to the list of nominees.

All those lifts are well deserving of recognition..it should be noted that Tom Eiseman is over 50 years of age!

Was Konstantin Konstantinovs deadlift this year, when he did 948 at 270? If the lift was this year, then no contest. He is 6'4 and he had to pull this lift a mile. That is the most impressive deadlift ever. You see short guys pull sumo and the weight looks like it is only going eight inches ,and every inch you pull is huge in the deadlift. I give this guy the crown for the best deadlift. hands down, easy decision.

The Konstantinovs deadlift was in 2006,didn't here to much about it because it was at the Latvian Nationals.
