What ply is allowed in this meet?

Hirvonen's 672 seemed to tip at the chest, and it looked like a dip on the way up. (However, the camera seemed a bit jumpy.)

To the questioner: it said IPF affiliate.

he better kick up notch for worlds

Wahlquist is the man!

Ok, before people start questioning my bad effort on this meet I might as well explain what happened. My plan was to go for the world record in the 242 class. I normally lift in the 275 but I have lifted in the 242 several times and I normally don´t have a problem cutting weight.

This time however things went really bad. I sat in the sauna in the morning of the day of the meet and after some time I started to feel really bad. My heartrate went up a lot and I started to get severe convulsions. Because of this I had to abort my plans of competing in the 242, kinda bad since I was 245 when this happened. I weighed in the 275 class and only took an opener of 672 to win and did not take any more attempts.

After the meet I felt really bad and I ended up going to the ER where I had to undergo some medical treatment due to severe dehydration.
Not the way I had planned, but what doesn´t kill you makes you stronger! I´ll take some time off now and then start training for the Arnolds.

wow sounds great good luck stay strong

I would never question any lifter's effort, only the execution of an attempt. Rest up and keep up the great work!
