Hudson Natural Open Highlights

Mike Siegler, Jr. has created a video of Cheryl Anderson, Maura Shuttleworth and Fawn Friday competing at the USAPL Hudson Natural Open on Saturday in New Richmond, Wisconsin. All three women train at The Press Gym in Little Canada, Minnesota.

Anderson, 105, totalled 760 pounds and won the best female lifter award. The total ranks Anderson first on the Powerlifting Watch Lifter Rankings. Anderson squatted 255 pounds, benched 170, and deadlifted 335 pounds. She missed two attempts at a 285 pound squat.

Shuttleworth, 114, totalled 690 pounds, squatting 250, benching 190, and deadlifting 250 pounds.

Friday, 123, totalled 615 pounds raw, squatting 240, benching 95, and deadlifting 280 pounds. She won the best female raw lifter award.

I heard the a rumor that The Press might be closing because Zuba's are making a come back. Any truth to this? I'm not making this up.

I have to go easy on him every now and then to spare him from injuries. If you had another gum wrapper, I'm sure it would have made a world of difference with my bench attempts. Thanks again to you guys for coming out and supporting us - Mike Jr.'s creativity and hard work was awesome and capturing all the footage is appreciated!

Yes I plan on being there to regain my crown so I can go to Masters Worlds-I live in the Midwood section of Brooklyn and train in Seagate Coney Island...check out our website

cheryl, please keep what happens between you and mitch a secret. i'm going to get more gum, just for you. as i wrote on the original vid mikeis large07, first time ever i went to a meet especially to see the ladies. of course i heard some would be lifting raw and i guess that means something other than what i thought. oh well, nice job. soon powerlifting will join women's tennis as a better show than the men's contest.
