I was extremely impressed with the way the McCaslin's were portrayed, and was truly moved by the love and care for values so evident in that family. Despite what some may say about the girls and lifting, their individuality and passion for it had me convinced. Great show! P.S. Felt bad for the VA kid, his queen fairy mother wanted a girl so bad, she turned their son into her little fairy anyway. P.P.S. Living in your own gym must be amazing! Loved the pranks. Genius.

The McCaslin's are people who genuinely care about their family, and others.

It's refreshing to see, and I'm glad they are a representation of this sport!

I would consider doing a meet in their neck of the woods, provided she hands off for me in that pink dress, taps my head with her wand and sings "Twinkle, twinkle" after my last attempts.

somebody really needed to slap the fairy out of that kid,

that would take a loooooooooooooooooot of slapping!

Damn good show, it showed powerlifting in a positive aspect, Any kinda publicity is always good,I expect more people know who the Mccaslins
are than know who Shawn Frankl is,.The Mccaslins showed strong family values and are extremly dedicated to there sport,Damn it must be nice to be able to live right at the gym.Anyway's a good show and a must watch.

If that kid would have went to the reservation school I went to, he would have had the arrogance
or the fairy beat out of him and he would have had them nice clothes stolen, lol I'm just shocked Ms. Mccaslin kept her patience and did'nt strangle him.

Thank you everyone for all of the kind words. It means alot to us to feel the support of all of our brothers and sisters in iron.

Thank you,
The McCaslins

I need help I guess. I can't figure out how to watch the entire show. SS, J.R.

hopefully she bitch-slapped him in the unedited video

This program proved that you can not judge a book by its cover. The McCaslins are caring people with big hearts. Most of the powerlifting community fits this mold. I think the show was very positive for the McCaslin family and the family of powerlifting.

There's talking... and then there's powerlifting.

COOL!

made me proud to be a powerlifter

What a great show. I have never watched this show before. This was a great show and showed you what family support can do for all of us. The McCaslin family should be proud. Its nice to see powerlifting getting its shot on t.v then just staying underground.

XXXPOWERLIFTING

I can't say thanks enough to everyone.
Sandi did not get to bitch slap anyone, maybe next time. LOL

Zane

Awesome job guys!! You have a great family!

Shawna

For the record, I had to sign a contract that had a "no bitch-slap" clause.

I did tell the crew that I wanted to strap on a pair of stilettos and stomp on his nuts...but hey...that's just me...lol

The thing is this. The kid was arrogant and rude. Kids are not born that way, his life made him this way. I felt more sad for him than angry...it's true...I'm a sap and I'm corny. I think America expected my kids to be rude and vulgar.

I loved all of the polar oppositions as well as the eerie similarities. Donna's passion for her tea parties is as strong as my passion for my meets. This was truly a life experience. As much as I adore my family, I came home appreciating them even more.

I will hand off to anyone in that pink dress, but the singing, I just don't know....I heard that several people on the street went into some type of seizure that afternoon...lmao...good times...good times.

For the record, the Wife Swap ratings went up 16% from the previous week's episode (the viewer number went form 3.7 million to 4.3 million). Thanks to all who tuned in :-)

Great Job

I've already commented a couple of times but I watched the episode again and have the ut most respect for the Mccaslin family. When the fairy lady completly insulted your daughters you had the compassion and intelligence to know she did'nt know any better.Instead of showing anger and hostility, you showed compassion and care and threw a party for the insulter,(as she said, it was the most happiest day of her life, thats sad)You guys show that powerlifting is your life, but it's not as important as the human spirit,You both are excellent role models for your children. Thanks for showing those who watched that were not all roid raged, ammonia snorting members of society. Charlie Farmer

Everyone who thought the McCaslin family would represent powerlifters poorly should be force fed their keyboards by Sandi. They were so kind-hearted and good-natured it made me want to barf.

As far as I'm concerned, they ruined reality television forever. I was hoping lil evil was going to stab someone. Instead, Zane threw a tea party.

i was at least hoping evil would slug rachel ray in the gut

Wow - representative of why I love this sport. Of all the cocky assholes I may have met here and there, there are 10 other guys(or gals) who will help you become a better lifter and support you, even though before this meet or that training session they had no idea who you were. That's fuckin family - thats powerlifting.

This week - thousands of powerlifters are glued to the TV watching wifeswap... LOL

Actually, I just watched it too and it was pretty good! It shows powerlifting in a great light.

I was extremely impressed. Great to see people living their passion -- whether it is throwing tea parties or PL meets. Life is too short to just be mediocre.

What is this world coming to, Jon? What happened to the days when a man could sit in his armchair and watch society decay before his very eyes?

Great stuff. Wonder if the dresses were single-ply? Watch out, now. You might see Bill get Donna to pull his finger(by golly) and Zane set a PR in a tux. No denying that the McCaslins are genuinely great people.

How much money did they receive.
