This is the first time I've seen the monolift behind the lifter. This is much better for the spectator and for video. I think more meets should use this.

I was afraid to even look at the clips, and guess what? I had good reason to be afraid, It was so bad I had to stop 2 minutes into it, just pure junk! Wanna make you blow chunks!

Shut the hell up, I am being as positive as one can.

Tim,

U cannot be serious. The squat depth was as good as it gets for WPC.

I was not trying to be a smartass, however you just dawned on me, when you say WPC. I judge by parallel or lower as in USPF or USAPL and that is where I may miss a lot of the whites given.

But even so some of those squats were crazy high, 1/4 at best and even a few lifters knew by the look on their face only to be surprised when whites came on?

We all know that the depth has become a joke and is ruining the sport! The gear is great , the drugs are fine, but the root is the fucked up judging and the lifters for dictating in a way that if their 1/4 squats are not passed then they will go else where!

SO to keep the lifters then the judges give out anything and everything, why even have judges? You see the guy who fell back? looked like he even got a white?
hahahhahaahahahahahahahaha

I am sorry but I find it all to silly! WPC, WPO, APF, SPL, NUTSA and so on!

anyway not trying to fight with but I agree with it being WPC,

hope all is well

tim, most of the squats in the vid are spot on.

rrrrrriiiiiiggggghhhhhttttt!

Which eye were you looking out of , your blind one or the bad one?

Spot on are you kidding me all of them for the most part are high not even close!!That is the problem with the sport. I have watched it for the past 30 years and it is so sad what has taken place. I like gear and all and the mono is fine but geesh make them at least hit depth that is bad. To say the least. I like all the others who get on and try to say it looks good way to help the sport grow.

Dont always agree with Tim but on this one he called it right. It is what it is and that is highhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!

Tim i agree 100% that if compare to USPF or IPF the squats look at tad high..But its WPC and the squat is a different standard.

Hope all is well with you and i hope u revive the USPF in TX!

is this for real those benches were just stupid! talk about belly benchin! this crap is what gives this sport a bad name!

Where the f*&k did Jani Murtomaki go? Did he drop off the face of the earth? I suppose he doesn't lift with the Metal group anymore, but where did he go?

The squats looked good to me. Nice meet especially for a gym. There should be more meets like this. Ano does a good job.

He moved to another city and left the Metal team at the same time. The last time he lifted was last Saturday in a bench and deadlift meet. The results are here at powerlifting watch, posted on Monday or Tuesday. The next meet for him will be on next Saturday in Iceland.
