Priest Burdette in AFPF War on the Shore

James "Priest" Burdette, 198, will take to the platform on Saturday for the AFPF War on the Shore which will be held at F-I-T Gym in Los Angeles, California. Burdette plans to open up at 705 pounds and hopes to finish with a 766 pound press. He currently holds the twelfth highest bench of all-time at 198. Burdette next will compete at the WABDL World Championships in November.

The War on the Shore will also feature a team showdown. With Scot Mendelson's F-I-T team battling the Nemesis Powerlifting team out of Ventura, California. Lifters from San Diego, Sacremento, Los Angeles, Ventura, Cammarillo and Fresno will be competing the event.
