Tim Anderson Wins Best Lifter at NAPF Meets

Tim Anderson, 220, took best lifter honors at last weekend's NAPF North American and Pan American Bench Press Championships which were held in San Jose, Costa Rica. Anderson bench pressed 601 pounds at the meet. Anderson hit the weight on his opener. Less than a month prior, he benched 644 pounds at the USAPL Bench Press Nationals where he was runner-up for the best lifter award to Jason Jackson. Anderson made two attempts at 650 in an attempt to break that mark. Here's video of Anderson's bench press:
