yeah he is about 270 right now

Holy crap!

I love the 660x9 deadlift. Anyone notice he was standing on a block too? It wasn't huge, but none the less, it was wicked sick!

Try standing on something that is 2" high and do a pull. BIG fucking difference.

once again anonymous can't read and ignored the update note on top of the news . - '(updated bodyweight)'

The initial post said he weighed 242, which clearly was bull. Now the initial post has been edited to say he weighs "under 275", because another poster said he was about 270. This training footage is at least several months old. No one knows what he weighed then, or probably now. I don't either but if it is like most world class 275, he trains at 280-290 and diets down to make weight. Jeeze this place is just a bunch of hand waving and mirrors sometimes...

Kostantin walks around more like 260-265lb, unlike most he goes up to compete. No smoke and mirrors, no dog and pony show, just pure strength and hard training.

I just think it's incredible he can hold on to 660 like that for almost a minute, that's some crazy grip strength.

Not really - many strongmen, even amateurs have this grip strength level and often use fatter bars with no knurling.....

Thanks Mr. Anonymous.

mindblowing...i´m a big fan since i saw his juniorWR (2002 390 KG), done without a belt...and shoes..lol

whatever its not like you know him or anything, gah stfu you little wannabe bitch! FU rofl lol

i have been personal friends with kosti for over a year now. he does have to gain wait to compete. he is very lean most of the time. his powerlifting skills are sick, but he is even a better guy.

I think he is the greatest deadlifter of all time. He pulled a 948 pound deadlift in 2006 weighing around 265. His height is also around 6'4. You see some guys , example, in the 165 pound class, sumo deadlifting a record over 700 pounds and the bar looks like it is moving less than a foot. He is conventional pulling the weight over two feet, and everybody knows that every inch you pull, is like pulling a mile in a max deadlift! He is like a Gary Heisey, but stronger and lighter in body weight, plus just to have a grip and pull over 900 pounds under 275 is unbelievable. He is definitely one of a kind lifter to move that much weight that far at his body weight.
