This is going to be a great battle between gyms- although Fry was at BIG for a while... Regardless, if Coker decides to stay at 181 for a while, we'll see 800 soon from one of these two guys.

Congrats Jason!

Fry was at BIG? Didn't know that. No wonder the guy benches so damned much, training at BIG AND Westside.

Has a record ever been broken by that big of a margin before?

Nice going, Jason! I'm sure that 800 and even 850, like Brad predicted, will come!

Any word on how the other BIG guys did today?

holy shit alot of weight to lift in superheavy but 181 awsome. congratulations

I saw that Coker said he wouldn't cut to 181 again, but i'm sure he can put up more than that since he did over 800 a few weeks ago at 185. Maybe he will change his mind, either way that is a crazy bench!!!

I don't believe Fry was ever a member at BIG, he traveled out there to get some training guidance over a short period of time.

Coker dropped 27 pounds in less than 2 days to make weight, sounds like he had a pretty rough time of it and isn't planning to do it again. He's got a ways to go to catch Frankl in the 198's, but it should be a good battle now that they're under the same roof.

coker IS going 181 again. hes pretty upset about his performance. he did have a rough time making weight but he figured it out. he was up all night in the steam suana and the bathtub. hes got 804 in him right now but has been going through a rough time. he will do 850+@ 181..

yes, coker did it and so did frankl today at 220

That is an amazing bench at that bodyweight.
How does anyone drop 27lb in two days and still function at that level come meet day?

great job coker. It was fun!!! I'm glad you didn't have a stroke.

the dudes a freak, him and frankl are amazing, some great benching went on today.

I just watched Coker's and Frankl's videos, and those lifts looked really solid. It's amazing to see numbers that BIG (LOL) coming from the lighter weight classes! Good job to both guys and to BIG for putting on what was obviously a good meet.

Congrats on the new Record, but I'm not gonna call it a solid lift at all.
It was not taken at arms length, spotter still holding bar as it descends and that Head Judge says TAKE IT!!!

Not trying to take anything away from him the record is now his. But Coker you KNOW you can do better!!!

If you are gonna do it do it!!!! No questions at all!!!!

good thing you weren't judging then... I guess it was good enough on the platform

Simply fuckin' amazing. Both Frankl's and Coker's lifts. Congrats to both.

not to hijack the amazing feat that coker just went through but was Caslow at this meet also? I thought I read he was competing there as well...

But, again Congrats to Coker for setting a tremendous world record.

Lifts were no good. I guess you don't have to lock out the weight anymore. Powerlifting is in a sad state right now. Clean it up.

Yes, Al was here and had a really great day. I'm not sure what all of his numbers were but I'm pretty sure he squatted in the 820's and I know he pulled 700

I was there, the judge did say take and then said rack it he immedietly apologized for screwing up. It was a clean lift and watch the video again it was taken at arms length and Coker does not start the descent untill the spotters let go of the bar so stop hateing

I may not agree with Mike on this one, however he is not jealous what so ever. Mike's numbers speak for themselves.

Anyway....

Coker nice work can't wait to see more. Now that your at BIG those numbers are gonna go crazy. Great job!!!!

DYING LMAO @ Pat Benetar "Hit me with your best shot"

great videos... congratulation Shawn and Jason

someone please kill the dj....

I am by no means taking anything away from Coker, I said that before. BUT listen to the video provided hear I totally hear him say TAKE IT. That to me is not a Rack call, if he messed up and apologized and imediately says rack thas cool I was just going off the vid.

You guys know me I dont get jealous, hell if I was jealous I would be tearing down Shawn's lift. He just out benched me at 198 so why would this be out of jealousy? I just wanna see an all time down a close to perfect as possible and to me there ids flaws.

I like how the one calling me jealous posted Anonymous???? Get a set of balls and post with your real name,

I gave Coker his props but told him he is capable of doing it better and I hope he does. I'd love to see him or whom ever it smoke an 800 plus at 181. That would be fucking INSANE!!!!

Again Coker congrats, but do it better. If that offends him or anyone else so be it. I just wanna see it right w/o flaws!!!!

Great job Coker! Now smash that 800+ barrier. Team BIG had some tremendous lifts today it was a great meet.

No lift. Arms not locked.

He started with arms not locked no pause on chest and not fully locked out at finish, lot of weight but not a good lift.

Thank you people for recognizing that Coker "started" not locked and "finished" not locked. It's really sad that Powerlifting has done this to themselves. Its all a joke. Dont delete this or any of the negative posts but its just dumb. These people saying it such a great feat are delusional. I'm not here to say they are not strong. they are! No doubt about it! But man do the way the lift is written in the rules. These people sitting in the chairs should never be allowed in a room with powerlifters again. How can a lift begin with the lift off guys hands still on the bar? I dont get it!

Nice lift, Always gonna be haters. It amazes me how much weight guys are cutting and maintaining strength.Pretty soon your gonna see luyando competing (not weighing) in the 220lb class.

Congrats on setting the record higher!! That gives me something to train for again. I just watch the video of that lift.................I compared your lockout of your 804 from the APF texas meet and the lock out of the 771 at the apf this weekend.... I'm sorry but I can't tell. I think If people are going to be critical of a video at least compare it against another video.

I'm just glad when I did 706.5 There were all positive messages. now my 725 at 181 wasn't as clean, I'll admit that.

Great job again, and lets see a clean 800 real soon!!

Let's clear everything up for once. I did train at big iron mabey a total of 6 time and 3 of those time were bench days. i picked up on a whole different style of benching that works for me really well now. I did see lots of different training exercise that have helped me also but I combine Westside methods with big iron methods and do whatever the hell I feel like doing day to day..

The only reason I trained at big iron is cause my job transfered me to shenandoah iowa to do some engingeering on a ethatnol plant for a month and big iron was the closest best gym to train heavy at while i was out there for my job. I did go back last december for one saturday to visit and train, but only because my engineering company is based out of Des Moines Iowa and I had a company christmas party to attend. and I took the oportunity to train there one more time.

Brad has been a big help to me not only in training but as a friend. SO much that he's going to be in my wedding. By the way I still have the hottest fiance out there:)

Not the cleanest lift but it was legal. He did not start the lift untill the lift off guy let go of the bar. Listen close to the video, the judge says "take it, I mean rack it, rack it, rack it". And the lift was just as locked out as Frankls.

hey brad, I heard the judge say "take it: but immidiatly corected himself and said "rack it" the wrongs words come out but from the video he does say rack it after he said take it.
