BIG Iron Open Roster

The roster has been published for the APF BIG Iron Open which will be held Saturday at Big Iron Gym in Omaha, Nebraska. In the bench only competition, some of the best multi ply benchers from the 181 through the 308 class will be competing. Lifters include Jason Coker at 181, Michael Cartinian moving up to 198 after his Pro-Am victory, Shawn Frankl and new threat Jake Prazak battling in the 220's, Richie Briggs looking for Rob Luyando's record at 275, and Luyando and up-and-comer Matt Hobmeier going at 308.

The full powerlifting competition features Al Caslow, 181, and Jim Grandick, 275 fresh off of their IPA Pro-Am performances.

Thank God for BIG IRON retaining the worlds greatest lifters under an APF sanctioned meet. They could single handedly re-gain the reputation of the once highly respected APF.

I wish I could do this meet. September is always such a busy month. Hopefully BIG will have another one in Winter or Spring.

Buddy Im going was trying to get Cam to go but he said he already had plans. Its going to be a good line up.
