Man, that looked easy for him!

Damn!

F'NNNNNN AWESOME Thats one of the cleanest benches ive ever seen Incredible Ryan

Ryan, you are an animal, and you rule the bench press whether or not you use Inzer's gear! Whether it's that first 800 you did years ago, the 1000+ lifts you've done recently, the 600 raw presses, or this lift, you are a fantastic lifter who only keeps getting better. Congrats!

It looks to me he is still wearing an Inzer shirt! Different wraps, and singlet, but that was a phenom he was wearing and he knows it!

Cant say anythint is wrong with that one.....was that his 3rd? looked like he had way more in the tank...

Your point is ?

Incredible. Especially after losing about 30 lbs. Congrats.

The weight loss may have done him well. He looks much more lean in his back and legs and 300 pounds is much healthier then 350.

Also, judging by that lift 1000 would easily have gone on that day. It's too bad he didn't go for it instead of 985. What were his first two attempts?

he has an inzer sucks website, then uses an inzer shirt. thats the point.

All I can say is Ryan is the best ever, period. He dominates the bench like no one before him.

No wonder he didn't want to go to the Europa thing with the other guys. Until one of them puts up something in the ball park, what's the point of Ryan showing up for peanuts?

George

Nice lift ryan you can definitely tell he lost weight compared to IOWA

I'm pretty sure that has to do with the fact that Inzer owns the RyanKennelley.com domain name and wont let him have it.

Then why not use RyanKennely.org? RyanKennely.net?

Yeah, I'm kind of surprised he didn't take 1000, too. Only 15lbs. more, and he definitely looks good for it. Dude's a monster either way.

Inzer owns those too.

Just because he has some issues with John Inzer doesn't mean he has to throw away all his Inzer shirts. If you spend the money to get a Phenom, why not use it? Also, this "controversy" in no way minimizes the man's accomplishments.

Thank you, for "getting" it. It seems like "abomination" took it personal.

You act like he has ever lied about wearing Inzer products. I dunno, has he ever ?

When you commented by saying,"but that was a super phenom and he knows it!", you said it as though you "outted" him...lol Like...Ha ! I caught you !

Wow, just think, you're the only one that "caught" him in the act of using a product, that he paid for. Genius, sheer genius, my friend.

That is somewhat laughable. He's good but 1 for 3 leaves a lot to be desired. His 2nd & 3rd attempts didn't pan out for him. Ryan is a better lifter then he showed on this day. And yes i will tell him that to his face. Ryan is writing his legacy no doubt but he better raise the roof on the 308 record because its in reach.

Congrats Ryan!

Rob,
I respect your lifting alot, as you've proven beyond any doubt that your among the top benchers in the world. My statement took into light that no one is within 50lbs. of Ryan at super heavy, and now he is 40lbs. clear of anyone else at 308. The last time Ryan was beaten was by Gene, and that was many years ago, and until someone can either beat him at the same venue or take away his records he is the man.

Rob is within striking distance of that record or will be soon. He's put the 242 and 275 records waaay out of reach for awhile.

Don't get me wrong, Ryan most definatly is a top lifter to be sure. But in the 308 class there are a few who could come close to him right now

I was busting Ryan's balls not your George. Ryan is a friend of mine and I have to give him shit to keep a fire lit but like I said as of right now the record is in reach.

I guess I can understand how someone might raise an eyebrow over this, but, seriously, whose shirt he used isn't what's central to this thread. The guy benched a buttload of weight and set a new record. Also, I don't think Ryan is banned (LOL) from ever using an Inzer shirt again just because he's pissed over the domain name for his website.

Nice Lift Ryan!

I think Robs right, I think he can hit that at 308. That would be a good showdown. I gotta throw Mendy in there at 308 too. I like Mendy better as a 308er than a super. That would be a super strong class there. You can even add Wong and Tiny to the mix and that would be a great show.
And pretty soon maybe you could add Mike Wolfe. I saw he got his weight down to 315.

I dont care what he lifted in, it was a good lift.
I dont even know what the deal is with him and Inzer and the website and I dont care.

What a CONSISTANT lifter!

Great lift. No doubt about that. Ryan had it easily. As far as blacking out the IAD logo, a number of Elite guys are doing it as well. Did this really surprise anyone.

maybe Gene will drop down to 308 with his injury and attempt to break the record. Any thoughts ?

I'd love to see competition at 308 with Gene, Ryan, and Tiny. They are all good lifters but Kennelly's definately the top dog until someone takes him down.

Thank you for the support, I like to thank Rob Luyando for helping out with my diet an re-hydration also, the guy is a super-scientist at that business. This was a great trial run at the 308 record with a new bodyweight an new shirt fabrication also.

A lot of people have been speculating on what shirt I used to help me break the all time 308 record. For awhile now I've been lifting at super. When I started dieting down and hitting the treadmill I dropped a lot of water weight and my current super phenoms weren't fitting properly after the first few days. So I gave a tailor friend of mine some of my best shirts and I told them to make a pattern for a version of me that would be about ten percent lighter. They took the shirts apart and made the pattern. Then they called their textiles friend and found a fabric that was as close as they could find to the phenom. It's a home decor fabric that's intended to be used for drapes.

This fabric is really close to the phenom but it's got a bit more rebound to it and it doesn't pop threads quite as much under a lot of weight.

So we made a few shirts while I was dieting and got the cut that fit the best across the chest and that placed the neckline in the best location. I didn't think to name the shirt since I was just making one for myself so my training partner Reyburg called it the Stealth shirt as a joke since it was all black. So, after breaking the record we decided to officially call it The Kennelly "Stealth" Shirt.

I'm really happy that I had the help of my friend and her fabric connection to get this shirt designed. All I'd used at 308 was denims and ragexs for the most part so I needed some help to get a shirt that was similar to a custom tailor made super phenom and they helped me to build something that worked perfect for me.

Next contest in Nov. I will have things even more perfected an the 308 world bench press record over 1000lbs!

Congrats on the new record Ryan, and just as a thought, maybe you oughta consider getting into the bench shirt business. Market the 'Stealth' as the world's strongest bench shirt. ;-)

Yeah Ryan, you need to get on a patent for this new shirt or something. If this material works better than the Phenom then you could give inzer some serious competition and Kennelly would be the ultimate name in training gear. This is your chance to really finally make bank from powerlifting. Hell, your lifts will be a testimonial to your products. I'm sure people would buy them. Also, my friend told me you plan to go for 750 RAW this year and that you not so long ago hit 730 to 1 board raw with a pause. Is this true? If so, when do you plan to compete raw?

Great lift! what was the name of the song playing?

I'd agree with that. Something along the lines of Kennelly Strength Systems 'Stealth' line of bench shirts. I could REALLY see demand taking off for something like that. After all, when the owner of the company is the strongest bencher in history AND uses his own shirts, what better endorsement can you possibly get?

what a freak

Definitely a Phenom with the logos blacked out. You can see them on the arms clearly.
