Matt K didn't bomb. He had a huge ass squat and bench along with a 810 pull. I am sure videos will be posted soon.

chuck fought and matt wenning are freaks

Nice pull for Clint Smith, I thought he was a bench specialist!!! Shows that benchers really are athletes!!!

Interesting decision to give Coker the lightweight bench prize despite Frankl's 850. Didn't realize that the criteria for biggest bench also includes "don't suck at the other lifts". And yes, I realize he was injured, I'm not saying Frankl sucks at squatting and pulling.

Is that right, 165lb. Laura Phelps, put up a 1,700+ total that per her right with the guys?

Awesome meet. Amatuers seemed awesome as well. That amatuer 181 that squatted 750 was amazing.

Was Bologne injured?

yes he tweeked something in the warmup room and took a token squat and benched 800.

Dumped a heavy warmup on the mono and took a knee. Hope he heals up soon

Frankl did recieve the money for Best Bench at the meet.

Yeah Rob my squat and bench were HUGE!!! LOL In case anyone was wondering my shoulder and arms were too beat up to bench from all the heavy geared work I had been doing (and the from the UPA meet six weeks ago) so I just went and tried to pull a good dead. Oh and I was at 220 not 242, I about killed myself to make it down there for the last time. lol

Big congrats to Brian Schwab, Al Caslow, Mike Cartinian, Greg Panora, Brian Carroll, Shawn Frankl, Mike Schwanke, Jim Grandick, Matt Wenning and Chuck Fought as they all lifted really well under tough conditions. Fought's 875 dead was impressive as hell and easy! He definitely looked to be good for 900.

And I just wanted to mention that Jeremy Frey had a couple of really tough calls on his 1000lb squat and 810 dead that could have easily gone his way and would have given him 2550. Keep your eye on Frey as I expect him to put up some huge numbers in the next few years.

Matt Kroc

Wow, some great numbers were put up by all.

It actually looks like it is about time to seperate the classes again. LOL the 198ers totals compare to alot of the heavyweights.

Great job Cartinian. 181, was it a lot to lose?

I want to see all the guys that said Panora wasn't gonna take it a few days ago, to post something now. Come on, I know you see this shit.

I think he is the toughest lifter I have ever seen. He can grind out anything! Tough call on his 800 bench I think they called him for butt raise. This meet has me ready to train again. It was great!

I see that Sam Byrd BOMBED on squats...where is he now to talk shit about depth and such?

I guess I'm one of those guys, and I'm still here. Congrats to greg, he beat a stacked lineup. The other guys are closing the gap every year, so enjoy it now anonymous Panora fan. Keep hiding behind your keyboard talking smack from your mom's basement. Love,
John

Nobody said greg wasnt capable of the win.. I believe you were the one that said nobody would be within 100lbs.. do you see that shit? Go beat greg yourself bitch or better yet let us TOP guys fight it out on the platform and let US decide on meet day who wins..I think if you were there, you would have noticed that it was ALOT closer than the results actually show it to be. Iam pretty sure that your best total is less than Greg's sub yest(1825). Give some respect to the people who put it on the line and go after the best, not some punkass pussy like you who is NOBODY..

Greg is the man! Congrats to all.. and sam will be back!ru

Yep, that total on Laura is correct. She is quite an amazing lifter.

The meet was GREAT!

Sam is the man, he just had a tough day on his squats. The same could be said for Chuck and Donnie. I will post a video of Donnie's 1200 attempt in the next couple of days.

Chris

What the hell do they feed these kids in Ohio?

Fought is 22 and set the 308 record.

Hoff is 20 and won the 275's with freaking 2510.

Tony hurt his leg about 4-5 weeks before the meet and was unable to complete training for the this meet. His leg gave out during the last warm up squatting 950 resulting in injuring both knees. It does not appear to be to serious at this time. Thanks for asking on behalf of Tony Bolognone

i competed on sunday and all i wanna say is that those two are freaks and still have room too get bigger hoff is great and fought has some good handlers like chuck v he helped fought and wenning affter bombing out vogelpohl is a class act this meet was great and ran awsome

Wow, they are actually getting stronger every year?! Holy cow, Batman!
I hope Panora gets stronger, too....haha
And I didn't say the other guys weren't awesome, I just said Panora is the King of the 242's. When you're beatin people like he has, including my favorite lifter of all time, Chuck V., you're the best of the best. He is just unstoppable right now.

I didn't say 100 pounds, or any pounds. I just said he would take it. I was right.

ANd out of the 15 people that bombed, 13 bombed on squats...Should say somethin about the depth that they're used to.
