WPC Eurasia Cup Results

Results (bench press and full power - pdf) are posted for the WPC Eurasia Cup held July 31 - August 3 in Chelyabinsk, Russia.

The biggest bench press of the meet went to Vladimir Maximov, 308. Maximov bench pressed 815 pounds before missing a country record of 882 pounds on attempts two and three. Maximov holds the highest bench press in Russia at 881 pounds.

In other benching action, Aleksey Merkulov, 181, benched 606 pounds, Constantine Otavin, 220, benched 662 pounds to beat Andrey Paley, who withdrew after his successful first attempt of 617 pounds.

Cyril Sarychev, shw, had the highest full meet total, with a 2,424 pound effort.
