I am not sure what it was that I just saw?

So now we have "text" telling us what we are watching? I mean text telling us why the lifts sucks but "not really"

This has got to be some kind of joke? So now we have a " View may make squat look higher than it actually is" ? Kinda like a rear view mirror? Dude those squats looked high only because they WERE WAY HIGH! Your benches were slop, but then again the bench sucked not your lifts?

The deads were due to the bar whipping? Not you?

Now We have seen it all!

Is it lonely up there on your pedestal? Its to bad there were'nt more lifters/judges like you, cause then everything would be perfect. What is your problem? This kid came out and lifted! He did well, yeah he has a few technique flaws, but working with Sandi and Zane, pretty soon he'll be a smooth 1000kg total. Are you jealous cause in in all your years of lifting, you couldn't lift half of that total with good or bad form!?

great job brother!

I thought the pre-canvas squats were to depth, but the canvas one could've been a tad high. Good catch on the bench, but they could've taken it before, when he listed to the right. Good efforts!

Great post you just repeated everything they said.

Bruner,
Do you live your life vicariously through the internet? I was at this meet and bombed out at 800 in the squat. Chris is a class act and he kicked my ass royally. Next time, learn to keep your mouth shut if you don't have anything constructive to say. Don't be a hater, be an appreciater!

nice job Chris.

man i didnt know that i was that tall LOL.

not hating on decent lifting but how does that total have him ranked at 17?

i have never agreed w/ bruner ever, but the text commentary is definitely corny. He didnt need to tell us that he wasnt training heavy prior to the meet, he only used his wrist wraps once prior to meet, or that that his left shoe was tied righter than his right shoe and it threw his form off.

Good lifting Chris, we dont need to know why you missed, just nail those lift next time!

LOL. Sorry for the corny text folks. The text was meant more for friends and people that follow my training logs. Maybe I should have put together another video just for power lifting watch LOL.

Anyway, think what you want. The squats were deep, however I do agree that my benching did bring the suck at this meet.

Simple fact is I’m quite happy with my results considering my first time getting over 700lbs on my shoulders again since my last meet in April was just a couple weeks ago. What can I say..I was happy to do what I did under the circumstances.

don't listen to bruner about depth. no one here but him will call out your depth.

Im proud of you chris and thats why I posted this up . I knew there would be haters but the truth is that cant touch what you did .

The video that chris made was really just something he put to gether for friends and himself he really had no idea I was goign to post that for him (my bad chris ) So if its corney to you now you know why . The full meet should be up today sometime for your viewing and hating pleasures . Again in the full meet video you will see some high squats but that does not mean they got passed . If you asked any of the lifters even the ones that bombed they will be the first to tell you judging was tough as well as fair

I thought the same thing about the canvas ones, not by much though. Great total Chris. The SSA doesn't have a tested division but you all should know that's the way Chris has been competing. It makes a difference and 2075 @ 220 is a damn good total in either division. Hey Jason, sounds like you put on a great meet, way to keep powerlifting kicking in the NW.

yeah could have done without the text in the video but nonetheless the lifts that passed looked good and strong i thought. well done! how old is chris anyone know?

Chris,

I was very impressed, and that was a really nice mono-lift you built.

Bruner,
Lighten up!

thanks. i was happy how it turned out, especially as a prototype

31 to answer the other question.

yes i normally compete in tested but SSA didn't have that division.

Was the guy in the sleeveless grey t-shirt Tommy Fannon? He looked a lot like him, but I thought he'd moved to Florida?

Who exactly is Tim Bruner??? Peoples' champ???

Nice lifting...
