Only The Strong Survive!!!!!!!!

I guess thats pretty ok weight. My name is Tony Norwood out of Chicago. Im 162 and official max bench is 435lbs. Still working on my squat game but ive done 480 for 2 reps.. I workoit at Bally Total Fitness in Matteson. I bench raw, and I squat raw. If there are any true competitors that wanna challenge me feel free to contact ma at (708) 307-9446 especially Tony Conyers!
No Bull sh## i wouldnt waste my time writing this..

all you gotta do is show up to a meet and lift against them bro. you dont need to call anyone out. i do respect that you used your real name and contact info, but just show up to a meet and do it. im sure tony and many other lifters would be glad to lift against you.

if your true passion is raw lifting you'll want to do a raw meet to get you qualified for eric talmants raw unity meet, it takes place in florida this coming january and is the best raw meet of the year as you have to hit a qualifying total or bench to lift there. the raw unity meet is where all the best come to compete raw (that have an interest in raw lifting) eric himself is a 165 lifter and im sure he'd love to go head to head with you.

good luck and best wishes

Hey Bernor!! Yeah that's me brother - I keep telling these guys that you're coming down to visit sometime soon - it'll be a blast. Tony's doing great - he turns 50 this year, and still setting PRs. As for Mr. Norwood - pick a meet and go for yours, man. Plenty of great lifters in your weight class.

good luck brother and remember ''FUBACHI''

By the way for those who have the question. Tony will be 50 years young this year. Not bad for an old man, and Tony Norwood out of chicago, what are you thinking calling out legends like Tony. It sounds like you had a bad day and your venting. So im going to forgive you for that. Keep working on your squat game.

thats amazing, 50 y.o. and still whoopin ass.

good luck tony

Tony raw squats 530, might do 550. His raw bench is well into the 400s and he deadlifts 600 plus (also raw). Legit. Bally's Fitness! give me a break. That is the land of half squats (Oh no, you will hurt your knees!) half benches 4 inches above the chest (do not want to screw up the rotator cuff), you are allowed to deadlift?, probably with two thick mats under the plates (while you stand on the floor). Plus no grunting, no chalk, and the plates and dumbbells are all over the floor. Join a real hard core gym.

I believe you are being sarcastic and just want attention. Tony will likely do a raw meet this year in Florida (100% RAW, RAW United, likely RAW Unity meet, maybe the 100% RAW Worlds in Hagerstown, MD). Show up and prove yourself in a recognized federation meet with real judges. This is the only way I believe anyone's numbers (I get stuff like what you said all the time, then it turns out to be a 4 inch knee bend squat or a butt 6 inches off the bench bouncy bench press). Plus Tony is drug free. Good Luck

Looks good Tony C! Glad to see you back at it! Age is a state of mind.

sorry, but the all you 165lbers who think you can RAW worth a damn, the numbers suck. Barely over 500lbs, Talmant can even clear 300lbs in the bench or come close to 500 in the squat. The totals suck. I've seen Al Caslow triple 505 in the squat raw and triple 345 in the bench and hit 4 sets of 2 raw with 585 in the deadlift.

Tony C is the man though, 50 is going strong? this is amazing for how long he has been hitting it and hitting hard. Worth admiring.

try not being a dick. putting down guys like eric talmant is totally counterproductive to powerlifting. eric and his coach dave bates give more to this sport than anyone else i know right now. they are willing to help anyone and everyone... for FREE. eric also orginized the raw unity meet which is soon to be, if not already, the biggest raw meet of the year that allows lifters from all federations to come and compete on a level playing feild. not to mention that eric also gives out free advice on elitefts in the q&a section. plus all the work he does on peoples diets.

then after all that you want to put down erics numbers. the guy pulls more raw than a lot of guys two weight classes up do in multiply gear. hes also always ranked in the top 5 guys in the nation in his weightclass regardless of what kind of gear he chooses to compete in. yet fucking nobodies like you want to put down a great lifter who actually gives back to the sport and helps everyone he can.

youre a fucking asshole and a spineless bottom-feeder as you cant even post with your own name, let alone beat erics total raw or otherwise.

go to hell

Anonymous say what you want, but Eric T and others are in the game competing, contributing and making online contributions under their real name. Its conspicuous they are not talking trash about others. And given this thread is about Tony Conyers i'm pretty sure he would very much dissapprove of such nonsense.
