Great job Richie, and all of the BIG lifters! One of their female lifters went 12 for 12....she did the bench only in the morning (3 for 3), and then went 9 for 9 in the full power. And set ARs along the way....crazy!

Uh, just a question, why does the spotter on Richie's right side, keep the weight embedded in his chest through out the entire lift?

Kid is definitely strong, but in most federations, once the lifter has control of the weight, USUALLY, the spotters are required to take their hands and bodies off the iron - aren't they???

i think the most amazing thing is benching on a bench that sits so low.... how do tall lifters do that and get any leg drive without raising there ass?

He has a huge arch for a guy his size. Great job! It looks like the head judge did a good job making sure the weight was locked out and held too. Of course, people only notice judging if it's bad, haha.

He got a crazy arch and when you are not requried to have your feet flat on the ground, you can angle them to get maximum leg drive. Flat feet absolutely kills my bench.

It's funny you brought that up........this kid must not even work to maintain that body he must workout 7 hours a day and trains like a lunatic! what does he do????????? what does he eat???????????it must just be painful to be as smart as he is................

I hear he works only chest all the time. He does heavy cable flys to increase the size of his upper pecs. No other body parts are trained. He tans twice a day and does manscaping to maintain that sleak appearance of a hairless body. He maintains that jacked and tan physique with the Michael Cartinian bodybuilding diet and Guiness.
Richie is also like Michael Jordan he is sponsered by hanes underwear. Richie does work though he is an "entertainer" locally in Omaha. Just a boy hairy, strong and very short range of motion. He is not juiced up just high on life.

Richie's workout regimen consists mainly of explosive exercises: power cleans, power curls, power squat thrusts, explosive pec flyes, explosive dynamic bench off of foam blocks, and explosive max effort bench off of midgets holding foam blocks. 9 spotters isn't enough when Cartinian lifts weights. If you think that was nonsense, Cartinian did squats last week with 9 spotters per side to handle his set of 700 for 35 reps... I saw it, its true... it was a downset!!!

I heard that Cartinian once bet a waitress that he could eat four 72oz. steaks in an hour. He finished the steaks in fifteen minutes and spent the next 45 railing the waitress.

I heard that Cartinian once went to a rave where he beat up Mickey mouse and Stevo from jackass' bodyguard. Afterwards Walt disney hired him to not only write and illustrate the classic cartoon Alladin but to also be the voice of all the characters. He was the first person to do all of this EVER.

I heard that Cartinian ran for governor of California. But he lost a close race to Arnold. Things turned out good though James Cameron from the Terminator series decided to make a new movie featuring Mike as the Terminator.
