Jo Jordan Squats 1,003 At APF Intramural Meet

Jo Jordan, 275, squatted 1,003 pounds on Saturday at the APF Intramural Team Meet in Kennesaw, Georgia. It's the first 1,000 pound squat for Jordan, and ranks him eighth on the Powerlifting Watch Lifter Rankings. Jordan's 2,275 pound total also included a 622 pound bench press and 650 pound deadlift. His total ranks him nineteenth. Here's video of his lifts:

Isn't he pretty young too? He seems really consistent in getting lifts. Most people seem to be hit or miss in 2-ply gear (myself included). I've been following his training log trying to understand how/why he's more consistent than most.

Congratulations on the grand mark Triple-J aka "Joseph Jeff Jordan", like Marcus said you have always been dangerously consistent in your meet performances!

Great job Jo! Awesome job on Orlando Barbell's first 1,000 lb. squat! Way to represent.

No excuses! Just lift it!

Congrats Jo! Great lifting! It was good seeing you guys again!

Jo, great job. Brian is right, you represented well. Some people call it consistent lifting, I call it exciting lifting. Congrats on a grand.

Me, Darrel Hoard, Glenn Baggett, Jo Jordan, Brent Pauley- I'm sure I'm missing a couple- but that's who I can think of that went 275. Funny- come to think of it- I don't think any of the Florida guys of other than Jo went heavier than 242 (and I think he normally cuts to the 242s).

Grete job jo, welcome to the club!!

P.S. I'm not going to let you out total me again!!1

Great job Joe. Can't wait to start traing for the pro/am this weekend.

Hey Zak, don't throw me in with you fat bastards at 275, I'm a 242lbs lifter. I gues the size of my head can complicate matters though.
