Looked good to me. Great form.

Great job Jonas - strong squat brother

you can't tell me that the thigh at the hip joint was lower than the knee on any one of those squats. hopefully those were all red lighted. call me a hater, but im callin it as i see it

this is why i hate the monolift, people forget how to squat!

those were beautiful squats and great judging! very impressed i havent seen video like like from a multiply fed in a long time. great job!

half squats again..some of them were bloody awful

people increase the weight soo much when they use a monolift, that they can no longer squat the weight to legal depth! why can't people just attempt realistic weights and perform the lift legally?

These look like what we do in the gym sometimes called overloads where you stick a bunch of weight on the bar and slowly sink until you feel your hips engage and then stand up. I never though of someone getting three whites doing an overload.

lol... you guys are awesome. i think jon should change every negative "anonymous" posters name to "jealous pin-dick"

just my .02

Wow great input! Everyone who attempts to form an opinion of thier own and call a lift as they see it must be some type of "jealous pin dick" because they hate seeing the total integrity of a sport they love thrown out the window and turn into a no rules BS hobby that has no standards.

I FORGOT THE 1102 LOOKED CLOSE.

the 1st+2nd guys got theres passed, but the 3rd+4th lifters both bombed out of the comp on the squat, dont know why theres were posted.

lol charles.

you must be having a bad day. jonas's lifts didn't look bad to me. and don't forget, i've thrown a red at you before so i'm not exactly an easy APF judge.

and i really don't believe that the GPC rulebook says anything about going "1 inch below parallel". i know that gpc officials have often been a little tighter on requiring a more 'convincing' breaking of parallel, but that cannot be guaranteed from meet to meet as 'breaking' is subjective.

i would just congratulate the man and train harder.

The monolift is just a piece of equipment. People squat high. If judges give them whites they will continue to do so. To blame the monolift as the cause is retarded; same logic as guns kill people and bats hit home runs.

Don't blame the lifter, he's not the one that passed his own squat. He did what he had to to get it passed...certainly nothing more and nothing less.

squats were high for the most part. just man up and sink them. Its like half ass lifting...watch kirks 1000x2, thats how squats should be.

i hear you i did give 1102 a second look it would pass. I'm just going off the way they called it in canada.

The lanky third guy (Philippe Crets) is the only lifter I know who manages to look skinny at 300 Lbs. Smiling I've seen him go much deeper, so I know it is only a matter of time before he hits this (and more) deep enough.

yeah, lanky third guy thats his name...

just kidding... i'm training currently with philippe... and his problem was that he changed his squat suit from ACE to BOSS, and went more than few sizes tighter... so training cycle went all wrong... he couldn't hit depth in training even with 410 or something...

he just needs one more training cycle to get the suit/briefs right...

altought his squats looked good and easy... he just gets to really close to parallel... but just cant break it...

anyway will be better... philippe is strong and very driven guy...

and yeah he looks skinny

and no, i'm not the phat guy that was helping him on the meet... Smiling

most of the squats were not deep enough and I´m disappointed about the judging. Interestingly, the tide has turned in bench...
