Video Of Mat Court's 1,016 Lb Squat At CPO Nationals

Here's video of Junior Mat Court, shw, squatting 1,016 pounds at last weekend's CPO Nationals. The squat was a CPO National and AWPC World Record in addition to setting multiple Junior Records. Also included is his 937 pound opener. Court missed 1,058 pounds on his final attempt. The second video includes his 705 pound bench press and the third his 661 pound deadlift.

First one looked pretty good, second one even the dip didn't look like he got down there.

He squats too wide, it looks like he will always have problems getting the hips down without the knees coming in (and being lower) because of his stance. Hips don't move that way.

His opener was good. Second one was border line. But the side judges called good lift so be it.

First def good. Second looked right at parallel on video and passed so it was good! Great lift!

he broke at the knees first. learn to break hips first and depth shouldnt be a problem. plenty of strength
