EPF European Championships Results
(updated 5/10)
Final results are posted for the EPF European Championships which took place May 6-10 in Frydek-Mistek, Czech Republic. Russia is sitting out the Championships while serving a second suspension for doping violations.
For the women, the Ukraine won the team competition with 66 points. Finland took silver with 45 points, followed closely by Norway at 44 points. Gundula Fiona V. Bachhaus won best female lifter honors.
On the men's side, the Ukraine won a close battle with Poland, scoring 66 points to Poland's 62. France's 52 points earned them the bronze medal position. Jaroslaw Olech was named best male lifter.
