if you're wade hooper, you are very pissed right now. Jaroslaw Olech actually actually dominated the 148's for a long time before he decided to move up to the 165's and take on Hooper, who pretty much had a monopoly on the weight class for the last few years until Olech came along...still, i'm looking forward to IPF World's 2008, this is gonna be great.

Somehow, in the last poll on this site, both Wade Hooper AND Brian Schwab got more votes as worlds best powerlifter than Olech. Schwab is nowhere close to this guy. Hooper's going to have to squat 800+ to have a chance.

i just wish wade could pull a deadlift that somewhat matched his squatting power. If he could get that pull into the mid to high 6's (and it definetly could be there with his squat) than hed be untouchable.

Just about anyone could make a new "clear". You could argue that THG is elegant in it's simplicity, but I'd come back with the argument that a one-handed eighth grader with a subnormal IQ could be taught to make it in one afternoon.

Why anyone would want to pump an untested synthetic hormone into their veins is beyond me. IMO, it was pure luck that they ended up synthesizing such a potent anabolic. Minor structural alterations to biologically active molecules can radically alter their bioactivity. Bypassing FDA approval and circumventing manufacturing regulations by selling novel hormone derivatives on the black market is morally irresponsible on so many levels.

Yeah because this guy squats as much as him with a walkout, single ply gear, better depth, and with drug tests. So basically he has every advantage and still can't out squat this guy.
