Obviously a very strong dude but I am not sure I understand the point of putting videos of training lifts on here where the spotters are holding the weight and controlling the bar.

Strong benching Joey and good luck at your meet.

Titan500: it might just to have some idea of what your friends/favorite pl'ers are doing and how they are training at this point in time.

Looking strong Joey. Good luck at your meet.

Is he really getting what he wants out of the shirt (not just support, but, 'groove practice'), without using a belt to keep it in place?

Great lifting Joey! Give 'em hell!

Joey chooses not to wear a belt when he benches.

Awesome lifting Joey

as for why to put up videos of training, its not just so people can pat you on the back. You put videos up to critique yourself, as well as giving other benchers the opportunity to give you suggestions and see how you bench. I know putting training vids up has really helped me out for getting advice from others

Understood. Great job Joey. Looks very strong. I wish you the best in your upcoming meets.

Here is video of a trainging lift of mine. 650 in a single ply Katana...

Thanks Travis, as you said posting videos on training logs is used as a tool to help the lifter. Thanks for the support....

awesome work Joey,,,God bless

I think it's cool when top lifters post training footage (good and bad). You can usually learn something from it.

Strong lifts. I would say wear a belt to keep the shirt down and tell the handoff dude to get his F-in hands off the bar.

On a side note... It is just me or does it seem like Phil's post is done after a heavy night of drinking?

Big Joey! I think what Joey does is amazing especially considering he works about a billion hours a week!

Joey,

Since you're actually reading this. Why don't you wear a belt? It's interesting you don't. Just curious the reasoning. It obviously works well for you.

Marcus,

Now this is my opionion and what works for me. I dont like wearing a belt because I feel it constricts me and makes it harder for me to touch when bringing the bar down. Thats for me and I wear a Metal Viking as well. I already wear a tight shirt soif I put a belt on it makes it even more difficult to manuver the bar down. Touching has alwys been an issue for me so my coach and friend Greg Crook said take the damn thing off. My upper body is broad enogh to were my shirt does not move even without the belt. This is what works for me. I beleive in the old saying if it aint broke dont fix it motto. I hope this somewhat helps Marcus.
