USAPL Masters Nationals Results

Joe Marksteiner has posted results (xls) for the USAPL Masters Nationals which were held May 2-4 in Miami, Florida.

Brad Gillingham, shw, had the highest Wilks total of the meet with his 2,243 pound total. The M1 winning total included an 804 pound squat, 600 pound bench press, and 837 pound pull.

Two IPF World Records were set at the meet. Jim Klostergaard set a 181 class Masters 3 IPF World Record in the bench press. Klostergaard benched 380 pounds to up Japan's Toshio Kitano's mark of 376 pounds.

Bill Lindsey broke the 198 class IPF Masters 3 World Record bench press. Lindsey's 391 pound press betters Great Britain's Peter Fiore's 385 pound effort from 2001.

The ever consistent Gillingham numbers again, the man is the same as he's been for a decade already....and obviously nobody pushed him so he didn't lift "all out".
