Free-Spotter At Smitty's in Midland, Michigan

I received a Free-Spotter from Sherm and installed it last week. I have been super impressed with how simple it is, yet how well it works. It is awesome for setting up heavy bench overloads, and saving the back of someone handing off to you! If you do not have a mono, this is a great way to get that effect wherever you train. I also feel this is one of the easiest and best ways to setup and execute suspended goodmornings! I have a 13,000 square foot gym with powerlifters, bodybuilders, and average Joes and everyone has used it!

I just started setting up one here in Tennessee. I really like the concept behind this. Once I get it up and running, I'll take some video. Well done Sherm, great idea.

whats the most you guys have loaded it up with?

I haven't had a chance to work with it just yet but as for holding the weight. I have hung on the bar trying to pull it and it holds me.

I should have some video by the end of this weekend.

We have had 550 lbs. on it squating, with no problem at all....
