Ain't no home turf gifts there. Sick press.

that shit is insane. no arguing with that one.

That's over 4 times bodyweight!! I think he's the best bencher out there right now and he's a 3 lift powerlifter. Remember when everyone said that you can't have a big bench while squatting and deadlifting big. I think that just an excuse for poor performance.

How many 4x bodyweight benches is this now for "Freakl"? Shawn, you are just amazing! I hear you also tried 826 but missed....So you ARE human, after all! LOL Congrats, bro!

What's the big deal about this guy anyway?

That is impressive stuff. Nice job Sean. I would never have dreamed 10 years ago that guys would be benching 800@198.

great bench man! good job, congrats!

press command was a joke. these liftoffs now are halfway down to their belly before the liftoff man lets go. the federations ought to just let the bencher put their feet on the bench too.

Huh? Are you trying to be funny? Do you bench more with your feet on the bench?

IMO, the liftoff guy should've quit touching the bar sooner. However, he's not helping bring 810 down - it's all Shawn.

I thought the pause was VERY legit. The bar seemed to, 'dance' at the chest for a second or 2, and the judge made him hold it motionless before giving the, "press" command.

The judge made him hold the lockout before giving the, "rack" command.

IMO, an amazing lift, with terrific judging.

big irons hand offs are typically soft as hell. Don't know why they can't hold it there 4 a quick second before letting the bar down the lift is way more respectable in my opinion if it is held at handoff.

Guys? More like one freak that's doing it consistently. He's definitely at the top of the powerlifting world (bench only and full power). It seems the pro-am checks can be made out to him in advance.

id like to see that monster in a raw meet just for shits and giggles. what freak, hence the name freakl. haha

Sean congrats on another great lift. Theres only 3-4 guys in the 198's able to handle 800. Id be willing to bet most of the anonymous experts cant go 3x body weight much less 4x. Its just easy to come on here and talk shit about something you have no prayer of EVER doing. Jon, please quit letting "anonymous" post on here. If your not able to post your name, your opinion isnt worth shit either.

(I guess you need the usual treatment.)

So, when you were born, did it go like this?

"Mr. and Mrs. B proudly announce the birth of their son, Barry."

Don't crack on anonymous, thinking you're the only, "Barry" in the world.
You know: Elvis, Cher, Madonna... Barry. riiiiiiight

And who are the other guys at 198... or 220? Frankle and Luyondo. U dont get but a few in the 242s even.
Hell, the #20 all-time biggest SQUAT in the 198s is 837!

Luyando's bloated frame could never make 198 he would be lucky to make 242 again. Frankl is the new King of the bench. He has come out of the closet and openly admitteed he is a becnh "FAG"

Sam, both Halbert and Coker are both in or at the 800's. Jason should have his video on here or Bad Attitude today. (Not the Dump video).
JimRay I had an old Email address so I cant use Barry Williams now.So I dont need any "usual treatment". Im happy to sign off on anything I post. As far as anonymous comments throwing off on lifters, its bullshit regardless of who likes it. Why cant people who compete in the sport be happy for other lifters when they break new ground?

Halbert and Coker are strong but gym lifts don't mean shit. Should we just give MENDY credit for his 1152 gym lift? Frankle is the only 198er alive to hit a 800 Plus in meet. No one can touch him not even the great Halbert!

NOBODY is untouchable!!! Coker's supposed to go over 800 @ 198 sometime this month at the Texas meet. If he does are you gonna say he cant be touched??

Frankl will hit bigger and bigger benches and do it after squatting a grand!
