the guy is just awesome!

frankl is a a freak

Frankle is such a freak. Awesome work! Don't see anyone being able to touch him at all

yet.....hehehe

Congrats on the HUGE bench! Nothing but amazing!

No excuses! Just lift it!

Totally Freaky Frankl! Awesome again!

Big ups on the record Franklstein...I don't think 900 is totally outta the question.

Peace

Did Frankl enter the meet officially, or did he guest lift as reported on various sites????? If he guest lifted, then the lifts should not be counted as records.

No disrespect intended to Shawn. But the rules ,are the rules. All-Time records should be held to a higher standard.

Outstanding work, sir! Congrats!

Sean, hell of a job! Very strong!!!

My concern is Becca Swanson and Sean Frankl's records were done at there own gym. Who weighed them in? Who were the judges? The APF is becoming more like the IPA. You should never throw meets in your own gym and be able to break all time records. What is going to stop every Tom, Dick and Harry from throwing a meet during a workout? This is where we lose creditability for records.

How much weight does Frankl cut typically to make 198?

Frankl way to go on continuing to push the limits of what you can do.

Big Iron Is a Very Credible gym and in no way would cheat the system to get a world Record they are all class acts and all u haters need to go jump off a bridge, lifting is lifting if u dont use gear dont bash.

The man hit the best bench ever hit by a human.
(well, at least I think he is human)

I lift against the guy and he is legit. He raises the bar and puts numbers up for the rest of us to chase. He is a cool cat, too.

Great Lifting, Shawn. See you and the fat 181er when I heal up.

2 out of state judges were present for anyone who would like to know. There were no gifts on this day anyone there would attain to that.

Becca and Rick must have taken him apart this past week and uploaded more strength programs to his circuitry.

Franklstein is a cyborg. Someone needs to send him a virus and slow down his progress before he takes over the world like the Lawnmower Man.

Putt Houston.... now with more Bom Chicka Wahwahhhhhh

congrats!

NOTHING BUT CONGRATS TO YOU AND YOUR ACCOMPLISHMENTS WAY TO GO

Why do people that have no prayer of getting under 8?? always do all they can to discredit a lift? If it was at his gym who cares? He lifts at one of the premier gyms in the world under one of the best coaches. So what the Hell does it matter where he was. Maybe he actually got some rest and a good nights sleep instead of being tired from the travel. If he didnt do this once a month maybe it would be different. But Sean seems to have found the perfect formula for now. If he set a record give him the credit he deserves for a change.

This meet just opened up a new world of problems for powerlifting. Every powerlifting club can now have meets every weekend in there own gym. One huge problem is putting your teammates in the judge's chair. The judge can not judge fairly. Records for everyone.

I hear what your saying but I don't think it's much of a problem. In my last 2 meets my two coaches have been the official's. They have the utmost integrity and would not "give" me a lift if it weren't there. As long as the people have integrity, venue won't be an issue.

They aren't the first to do this. I've done a last minute sanction and held a meet at the gym. The judges had current certs and judged very fairly.
This has been done before and it's not been the 'beginning of the end' for organized powerlifting.
Plus it costs money to get a sanction, so that would preclude people from putting on an in-house meet every weekend.

I can't even believe the Priest is calling somebody else fat. Wholly shit if that isn't the pot calling the kettle black. You should have seen this meatball last Saturday. After our workout I watched him stuff his face with a strawberry milk shake, then he chased it down with huge piece of meat loaf and mashed potatoes. I think he even licked his plate clean. LOL.

It was a smoothie.

Unlike your big ass cheeseburger, fries, soda, ice cream and chocolate cake that probably only you, brad heck and jack reape could possibly eat. lol

So if you sanction your gym lifts they count now? This looks really bad when you are breaking records at your own gym meet. Certified or not you have your teammates and friends in the chair. The APF should make all records be done at Nationals or World meets where there is no favortism. Or make it a rule you can not have meets sanctioned out of your own gym.

Great job Frankl! Who care's where you did it. 810 is 810 no matter where you're at. See you at Nationals!

Great accomplishment from a great man! There isn't a nicer guy out there!!!

Chances are, you cant bench Seans opener (I cant either), so give it a rest. He lifted where he was asked to lift. When YOU set a world record your opinion will count more. But for now, "Anonymous" doesnt show up in the books. What the fuck is so hard about giving credit where its due?
Jason, call me.

I got Frankl's video up here. I will agree with whomever said that there were no gifts this day. Great meet!

Anonymous, go shoot yourself

Hey anonymous, you're a dipshit. If records can only count from Nationals or Worlds meets what happens when the national meet is put on by your gym? Do the records only count for those who don't lift at the gym putting the meet on? I'm sure you don't know shit and you lift even less but are you still gonna bitch when B.I.G. lifters break records at APF SR Nationals? You do know they're gonna be in Omaha this year, right? Post with your name you no lifting pussy!

Shane
