A word of thanks:

Jerry Gnerre (MN APF State Chair): This meet happened because of you, your work and your GENEROUS donations to the cause. The crew from Zenzen Barbell who came and (lifted huge): You guys showed what a classy powerlifting team should look like. Twin Cities Barbell: There are no two people who give more of themselves than Gregg and Debbie Damminga. I am honored to call you my friends. Lifetime Fitness Powerlifting team; thanks for the awesome job running the platform. Also, thanks to the judges and last but not least, my closets friends and family; Elite Barbell.

Most importantly, I want to thank the 22 lifters who came out in a snow storm, to compete in a bench press contest, held in a small gym 50 miles from no where. The lifters came and competed knowing there would be no awards AND they would be asked for donations. These same 22 lifters donated $1200 to Rick Hussey this day. I am tryly humbled by your gesture. I pray the Lord's blessings on each one of you.

amazing contribution and support towards Rick Hussey.

Rick is a great guy who I am sure appreciates the incredible support.

Amazing demonstration of strength by Dean Reiman and many others but not every feat of strength happened on the platform.

Also amazing that day was my Mother, Susan Nutter. My Mom is 62 years old and has suffered with MS for nearly 30 years. She is currently going through a very difficult time and on Thursday (11-29)she took a real bad fall. Her health is such that she shouldn't have left the house; especially in the middle of a snow storm. Mom insisted on being a present and experiencing this meet, so with the help a our Elite Barbell lifters, we got Mom into the building and she was there for the entire event. My parents donated and prepared the after meet meal for all of the lifters and spectators.
