Taisiya Kuznetsova Is The Reason WPO Lifters Not Paid

In an apparent response from WPO/WPC/APF President Kieran Kidder to Ukrainian Taisiya Kuznetsova, Kidder says that Kuznetsova is responsible for fellow lifters not being paid certain prize monies and that she must pay $5,000 to ever lift again in the WPO. Kuznetsova was disqualified from the recent WPO Finals along with fellow countryman Vadym Dovhanuyk due to issues Kidder has with Ukrainian coach Sergiy Ryzhuk

Hello. I can't tell you how upset you have made me by refusing to pay Me the $3000 you promised you would have before the contest started. Even if you had not bombed out in the deadlift you still would have been disqualified since you lied about the getting the money before the deadlift started. Kind of ironic that you screwed the WPO over, but you you ended up screwing yourself over by missing all 3 deadlifts. Now to get back into the WPC/WPO you must pay the $3000 Arnold Classic Guest Lifter Fee, and additional $2000 fine for a total of $5000.You have no choice, but to pay this money if you want to continue on lifting in the WPC/WPO.

The way I see it you are responsible for your 2 of your own Countrymen not receiving the prize money they deserved. Oleksandr Kutcher 2 time WPO Lightweight Champion, and Evgen Yarymbash the new WPO Heavyweight Champion only got $1500 each, if you had paid the money you promised they would have been able to receive $3000 each. I will make sure that Spartak makes them aware of this. You will have 2 WPO World Champions who are your fellow Ukrainian Teammates mad at you for your selfishness. I had planned on using that money for all 4 WPO Champions to receive prize money. By not paying your $3000 Guest Lifter fee you are also responsible for WPO Middleweight Champion Dondell Blue, and WPO Superheavyweight Champion Andrew Bolton not getting $3000 each. Andrew Bolton is the best powerlifter in the World!! Your a nobody whose self centered thoughtlessness ways are preventing the Worlds Greatest Powerlifter from getting prize money.

I have sacrificed more time, energy, and money into this sport than anybody in the history of powerlifting. You are one of thousands of lifters who want to lift in the in the Arnold Classic at the WPO Finals. Yes I did not mention the Guest Lifter fee in Lake George New York to to lift in WPO Finals at the Arnold Classic. But that is not the point! You are a great upcoming talent no doubt. But with that being said you are only 20 years old, and havent completely proven yourself. You are one of many high level female powerlifters, and I can think of 6 female lifters I would have picked before you if they were ready to lift. So out of respect/appreciation you should have been more than happy to pay the Me/WPO the money to Guest Lift, and I know for a fact your sponsor gave you the money. But you chose to be a greedy person instead, which explains your negative attitude. We might not speak the same language, but I can tell by looking at you that you are a lifter who only cares about herself. So now your greediness is going to cost $5000 total to get back in the WPC/WPO. I know you have been kicked out of the IPF, and the whole powerlifting world knows the GPC is for second rate lifters. For the sake of your powerlifting career I would get your sponsor to get you the money as soon as possible. If you have nowhere to compete your sponsor won't want to sponsor you anymore. Get Spartak the $5000 immediately!! Good day!!

Let's see here. Just from a mathematical point of view:
Taisia did not pay $3,000
And that prevented KK from awarding:
Kutcher $1,500 of the $3,000 he should have received.
Yarymbash $1,5000 of the $3,000 he should have received.
Ok that adds up to $3,000 so far missing.

But KK goes on to say that:

So that is $6,000 more he could not pay out case he didn't get Taisia's $3,000? If this an example of KK's accounting expertise no wonder the WPO is in the hole. That and the rising cost of blow!

this prize money issue is getting beyond the joke,KK/wpo needs to get the winners of each title paid the money they are suppose to be awarded ASAP.this means get them fucking paid before the comp is over,and this shit about not paying andy bolton and the other guys because of some seperate issue were someone hasnt paid a fee or has rubbed kidder up the wrong way,this is not a viable excuse for not awarding the best lifters on the planet the prizes they rightfully deserve,how does this ass-wipe expect people to swallow this shit and believe he is justified in what he is doing.. pay those lifters KK your greviances with other individuals,well take it up with them.

Holy crap,he just told a 20 year old that she owes him $5,000 to lift in the WPO. How many 20 year olds have that and after spending probably $2500+ to get to the US, would thing an extra $5000 is worth lifting on that platform? Pleeeese.

Even if his statement about time, energy and money were remotely accurate, the sad fact is it has all been in vain b/c he never followed through on his promises to the lifters and has made a God damned mockery of the sport in the meantime.

Does anyone else find it wildly ironic that he is encouraging her to get the money from her sponsors?

KK just don't want to pay out of his pocket. They had no part of it. Take her to court then or something. But more importantly...where does the lifter go that currently competes in this format....???

This situation, I believe, will cause them to be seriously looking for another avenue of competition...who wants to put the time and effort of training into this cluster F***K!

I hope that other promoters can take up the slack here...we DO have several HONEST and reputable persons who could put on a number of events...with cash.

KK picks who he wants to. The qualifing is all BS. Thats just a way to make money, they need people to attend certain meets to qualify, thats how they make there money. There has been a lot of people that has attended qualifing meets and were not picked and they were excellent lifters. KK invites out of the AAPF-APF people that didnt even attend his qualifing meets. KK still owes a lot of lifters money and this girl was a excuse for him not to pay out. We know KK. His big butt should be pulled into court..

What I cannot understand is why this money is not put up beforehand? Arnold Classic is pre-planned event, so why isn't there a 3rd party to whom the prize money is turned over to beforehand? Or, in the alternative, set prize money in a trust account? I understand that there is a scrambling at the last minute to get prize $$, but there must be enough people involved in this event that this should not be the case. To preserve the integrity of this event for the future, a separate entity should be instituted to guarantee that the $$ will be available to be awarded to those lifters who are entitled to it.

What is surprising is that it appears this practice has been going on for years and no changes have been made to ensure prize $$ is available before the event even takes place. however, people complain after the fact, as everyone can see in the responses in all the email comments. However, the lifters keep going back, and they have to be aware that there may be no guarantee of prize $$$.

Seems to me he is all we have so we just have to deal with it.
