As good as the articles may be, JOPP has gone the way of hardware locks on their electronic subscription.

This access code and your product validation will work only on the computer you want to use to read JOPP; you cannot transfer and read JOPP on any other computer. Be sure you gain access on the computer you want to use to read JOPP.

Count me out.

Thanks for the info Kris.

The free articles listed above have no such restrictions.

Well, at least you guys seem to be nice and polite; more than what can be said about a lot of other forums. But what alot of people don’t seem to understand is that in an electronic age, any article posted can be shared with thousands of other people with a click of a button. This spells huge losses in subscription revenue, not to mention copyright infringement. This in turn would mean that we would have to “fall prey” to a bunch of worthless product advertising like the other magazines/websites and raise our subscription cost significantly. Something tells me THAT is something that more people would find upsetting than only being able to use what they bought themselves.

It’s really about credibility and integrity. If you want science-based information that’ll guarantee PRs as opposed to hype, myth, and conjecture, you’ll have to “pay” for it in one way or another. We chose to go the path of cheap subscription rates with absolute minimal advertising while providing the most credible content available with the latest technology. Sounds like a cool deal to me.

Dan lists some very valid concerns with intellectual content published on the Internet. Best of luck with the magazine.

Hi - is it just me or is the link to all the free articles not working? Is possible to somehow get my hands on your November 2002 article 'Squat Mastery'? Thank you in advance. Best regards. Oliver
