Kenny Ruben Stars at AAU Orchard Meet

Kenny Ruben (242) was the star of the AAU Orchard Meet which was held on April 17 in Orchard, Nebraska. His meet best squat of 755 pounds ranks him fifth on the Powerlifting Watch Lifter Rankings and his meet high total of 1,901 pounds puts him eleventh.

Ruben added a 518 pounds bench press and 628 pound deadlift.

Great lifting, Kenny

I see a lot of youth in the results. It appears that the AAU is doing a real good job in getting young people interested in powerlifting. Maybe some of the other federations could learn from this.
