The 892 was high. Was not to IPF standards.

Maybe the judges gave Mike a gift cause they fucked him last year.

All the respect in the world for Mr.Tuscherer, however those squats were high for IPF standards. Higher than those of Mr. Bridges and he went home!

yeah, borderline at best- strong though!

why did he not get red lighted? his squats were higher than mike bridges' squats and they red lighted him.

I doubt the same refs did both comps.

Youre a fucking idiot. Did you look at the video, or just the still and decide that was the bottom?

I am not sure if you know what a IPF squat is Jason.?

Top of hip crest did not break top of knee(not quad)as per IPF rule book.In fact it was not even parallel.

Mike himself rountinely squats high in training and will be the first to admit it.

I am sure Mike will chime in and give us his thoughts as he is a stand up guy.

Considering he was robbed at this meet last year it was nice to him get the benefit of the doubt.

It shows with Bridges and Mike's squats there is some inconsistency in judging in ALL federations and this CANNOT be helped as we are human beings not robots LOL

Dave,

I know what it is. I will say though that I am hard pressed to believe that in a fed that has a fucking jury to overturn good lifts, they would let shit squats fly at their biggest meet of the year. Ive watched it probably 10 times, and will say it looks good to me.

Also, I apologize to you, as I wasnt intending to single you out, you were just the only one posting with your real name, so I have no interest in others opinions.

HOw many lights did he get? All 3 or 2? If it is 2 ever thing his left side might have been lower than his right? I do that shit all the time.

Even though our choice in fed's are different the judging seems to have the same problems with inconsitencies, just in opposite directions.

While I agree that Mike is strong, those squats were higher than Bridges squats that were red lighted. This is wrong but again we have human's judging and these inconsistancies will happen.

I respect all forms of the sport and hope to show no disrespect to anyone on here but only to point out that all feds have their issues. It seemed like a good meet and it looked like fun

Good job Mike, you DL's are sick!

With all due respect guys, it is impossible to call depth from this video.
Three judges sitting right there obviously thought the squat passed...

I'll admit, the Mike Bridges video looked like he was breaking parallel, but Brad Madvig who was actually physically there said they did not.

It is not possible to tell from these videos

Just saying how it looks from the video- for those that weren't there thats all we can do right? To me it doesn't look like its deep enough- i.e. it looks like the hip crease doesn't go below the top of the knee.
