Jr. Logan Lacy Takes BL at Best of the Best in the MW

21-year-old Logan Lacy (shw) earned the best lifter nod at Saturday's APF Best of the Best in the Midwest in Lenexa, Kansas. Lacy turned in a 2,502 pound total. The total ranks Lacy fifth on the Powerlifting Watch Lifter Rankings.

Lacy squatted 1,014 pounds, benched 804, deadlifted 683 pounds. He missed a final pull of 705 pounds.

Stanley Tomaszkiewicz (220) took the meet's best bencher award for his 677 pound bench press. The press puts Tomaszkiewicz fifteenth on the Lifter Rankings.

There were 2 times in the meet where Logan could have gotten screwed up in the head and not made his 3rd attempts; however he came out strong and buried 1,014 and smoked 804. Proud of you man, keep working hard!

First of all I want to say that Al put on one hell of a meet being it his first one. I was completely star struck at this meet. It was an honor to be there. Mr. Ryan it was my privilege to get to meet you. There is alot of information I would still like to pick your brain for.
Mr. Houston you put on one hell of a show. I need to find me a pair of those sunglasses by the way. It was great meeting you for the first time in a person and it was great to see you go to work.
Dave Damminga you did an excellent job spotting. It was embarrasing to be completely overshadowed by your 6 foot 8 mammoth self but thanks for saving me from a nose dive after I lost consciousness on that last squat.
Heather and Greg, I couldnt ask for better coaches. Yall push my buttons and keep me motivated. Thanks for being there.

..and for a couple hundred bucks you should switch over to some pimp gear glasses yourself. You got contacts popping out of your head on the platform, WTF!!! I pay a crazy amount for how fresh they look as opposed to some ugly sports goggles, lol, but sometimes you just have to come correct to look this good competing. LOL
