Dennis Cieri Headlines Bragging Rights BP

Former IPF World Champion and World Record holder, Dennis Cieri (198), will headline the ADAU Bragging Rights Bench Press which will take place on Saturday in Pine Hill, New Jersey. Cieri is coming off a win in the 198 class and bronze medal performance in the lightweight class at the IPF Titan Pro Bench Bash at the Arnold Classic.

Cieri has the number one ranked raw bench press and number two ranked single ply bench press on the Powerlifting Watch Lifter Rankings. His raw press is ranked twelfth in the world on the Power Rankings.

Along with Cieri, top benchers Shawn Nelson and Nick Seinara will take to the platfrom. Nelson (148) is ranked fourteenth and Seinara (275) is ranked 39th on the Lifter Rankings.

"I'll be sending in the results of the meet tommorrow. The meet had two big highlights. Nick Seinera set new 275# single lift record of 485#. He took 500 for a ride but ran out of gas before lock out. Then Dennis Cieri (YOUTUBE link below) blasted up 525# on his 3rd attempt. Dennis opened with 500 then took a second at 515 before the big 3rd lift.
